Our stay at Casa da Montanha far exceeded our expectations and our only regret is not staying longer. The garden is filled with beautiful flowers and trees, including lime, lemon, orange, and banana trees. Our children were delighted to pick strawberries, and I spent countless hours relaxing under the lime tree, enjoying the shade while reading. Having a coffee on the swing while taking in the breathtaking views was a true highlight. It was also very helpful to be able to charge our EV during our stay.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, each with its own bathroom, and the upstairs bedroom offers a wonderful surprise with its incredible view.
The kitchen is very well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, making the house perfectly suited for longer stays.
Our host was very friendly and always just a text away whenever we had questions. We would have loved to hear more about the house, so much love has gone into renovating it, a job well done!
A small suggestion would be to consider an automatic watering system for the garden, as well as a step-by-step guide for maintaining the swimming pool. This way the host wouldn’t have to come every second day.
We highly recommend Casa da Montanha to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views and thoughtful hospitality.
