Location was great - super close to the beach, stores, restaurants. Apartment was renovated, comfortable, easy access, great ocean view (31st floor!) and surprisingly quiet - it was right next to the elevator but there wa zero noise inside. It was clean and very fancy toilet in the bathroom.
The building is very dated and there is trash shoot on every floor which means there are cockroaches in the building (they are always present in buildings with trash shoot). I only came across 2 small ones in the apartment during a one week stay and apartment was very clean otherwise - but watch out for that! Also: no dishwasher and kitchen vent was weak, which bothered us a bit because we like to cook a lot

it was a private unit so no access to the free beach and pool towels provided by the hotel, as well as no early baggage drop off
