We were very impressed with the Fireside Inn, which was created by converting an industrial laundry into a beautiful modern hotel. They did a marvelous job through and through, with special touches everywhere. The staff is wonderful and so friendly. We highly recommend the Fireside Inn.

Very cute hotel. Clean, spacious and quiet. The beds are heavenly memory foam. During our stay, the exterior guest seating area was going through upgrades and building a new section but there was no construction noise.
Once it is finished, I’m sure it will add to the charm of the hotel.

This inn is new, clean and quite. It really is a great location on the peninsula if you want to enjoy the perks of the area without being in the thick of it.
There is limited coverage at the desk so this isn't the place to stay if you're a needy guest.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was amazingly comfortable. Perfect mattress with tons of pillows and cozy blankets. Very clean. Modern decor and led fireplace. I loved it and wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Cool little hotel with a semi-retro/modern aesthetic. Very clean and eco friendly. Well decorated with clean lines and beautiful wall art. The electric fireplace colors can be adjusted to your liking. Mini fridge is more like a dorm fridge. Microwave and coffee.
Memory foam mattresses are very comfy and I have a terrible spine. Extremely clean and management was helpful and so friendly. The owner greeted us at breakfast as well.
Decent continental breakfast with a selection of fruits, yogurt, milk, non-dairy milks, Cheese, various individually wrapped breads, including gluten free (I advised that cross contamination from the toaster could cause a person with Celiac Disease health issues)
Eggo type waffles and more.
The Close to shops and beaches. Absolutely perfect for our 2 night stay. So quiet, we didn't know there were other guests!

Brand new motel/inn, I quute liked the memory foam mattress and they went for quality in the bathroom linens, quute nice to see! Staff was very friendly and they pride themselves on how clean and sanitized they keep everything. Only about a 2min drive to restaurants and shopping and 5 min walk to the beach. The rooms are quite spacious. All in all a nice stay to our weekend getaway.

This little inn is so cozy and cute! It was super clean and quiet (the man that checked us in told us that they change all the bed linens, even the mattress pad after every stay). Staff was above and beyond friendly and even showed us to and around our room. This property is basically brand new and decorated so cute as well! I LOVE the wall tiles and art that is displayed. The beds were a little hard for me but they are memory foam and I’m a small person and don’t compress them like a normal size person would (so not the property’s fault). The front door is code access only so it also felt super safe as well. I definitely would stay here again.

Check in was a breeze with a very nice and capable property manager! Room was large, clean, nicely appointed and had everything we needed. Nice large shower too!

This place is quite new so everything is shiny, fresh and clean. The sheets and towels are top quality. Bed linens are washed down to the mattress after each guest, which I really appreciate. We had a King room, street side at the south end of the building. We were there mid-week in November so I can't speek to soundproofing between rooms- we had the enitre place to ourselves 2 of the 3 nights. You may want to request a room on the back side of the hotel if you like to sleep with the window open because there is some street noise.
Each room has a wall "fireplace" that is more of a space heater with "virtual" flames. It was kind of fun and did throw off some heat. There is also a thermostat controlled wall heater but no AC. The bed was a soft memory foam type with 2 different types of pillows to pick from.
The continental b'fast was as good as you could expect without any fresh cooked options. Cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit cups, hard boiled eggs, fruit cups, granola bars, pastries, toast and english muffins with jam, butter or peanut butter. Coffee was available 24 hours.
They have a small outdoor patio with a wood fire pit and a gas fire pit, benches and picnic tables.
They run a skeleton crew during the off season so b'fast wasn't always set out right on time, but all the staff was very friendly and eager to serve.
Cleanliness, value and location make this a great addition to the Long Beach hotel choices.

The owner and staff are obviously very passionate about The Fireside and it's guests, and it shows. Uniquely decorated, very comfy accommodation. All you could want in the room. The breakfast to go and good coffee starts the day well. A short walk to the beach, shops and dining. Thank you!

Very nice place. They had good designs on the walls. Good pictures of the ocean. The staff was excellent. Very clean place would come back again no problem.

The manager was very kind, understanding and helped provide my family and I a comfortable place to stay on our vacation.
The cleanliness of the room could have been a bit better, my 9 month old had dirt on his hand after crawling but other than that it’s ok.
There is only snacks for breakfast so to say there is breakfast is a bit misleading.
Fresh water , and coffee available all the time which is awesome!

Fireside is a new and very well kept small hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Walking distance to the beach and lots of great restaurants nearby. They are pet friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Super clean, spacious and comfortable. Was initially thrown by the self check in process. I have not experienced this before at a hotel but once I realized all the instructions were there via email, check in went smoothly. I noticed later that management had reached out to make sure I had gotten the instructions and that check in went well. In retrospect I think this is a brilliant solution to staffing shortages.
All and all this was an excellent stay.

Book through Expedia and you get the worst room in the house. Room right next to the front desk and you can hear everything being said. They say rooms are soundproof but they’re not. Didn’t appreciate the long black hairs in the sink and shower stall. There is a coffee maker in the room but no cups or coffee

Perfect little locally owned motel. Just a few months open and seemed to have all the bases covered. Management and staff could not have been more cordial or accommodating. The electric fireplaces in the rooms are just the perfect touch on a rainy and blustery evening.

I've stayed there three times so far. Every time, there is some nice improvement. I love this place. It's north of town, so things are a little quieter. Convenient to the entire peninsula.

I love how quiet it is and it's not directly downtown but it is a walkable distance for sure. Everything was clean and fresh. Will for sure stay again.

every single staff member was incredibly kind and courteous, the grounds were kept very clean and gorgeous with flower beds everywhere. besides a little sand on the floor (which is a given from a beach adjacent hotel) The room was immaculately clean and organized.

The property was very simple but very nice. They maintained the buildings well. Staff was always extremely courteous and helpful. Temperature was always comfortable so no real need for air conditioning but you did have to leave the window open in order to get air. Ceiling fan circulated air in the room. The open window did feel a little exposed to anyone passing by. Just a short walk to the beach and to restaurants and shops
