A nice small hotel located near Herradura Beach(Not on the beach). The small pool was nice to be able to cool off in. You can walk to the beach in about 8 minutes or they will provide a ride. The onsite spa was excellent, as was the breakfast at the attached restaurant. (Peppers) Service and food at the restaurant was also very good.

We stayed four nights and were surprised that what is listed in hotel amenities is not at all accurate. It says memory foam beds, beds were hard as a rock and front desk says they have no memory foam beds. I ended up sleeping on the sofa away from my husband because the beds were so terrible. Amenities are also supposed to include in room safe, per the description. No in room safe, only a safe in the lobby. Doors were not locked by card, but by a code, which is fine…but I feel safer with a card, just preference. Room cleaning service came once over four days, just after the first night, so that was also a bummer. No live TV so New Year’s Day football games were missed. Rooms and lobby are STRONGLY scented. I had to find and remove the plug in scent device because it was overwhelming. Rain shower head didn’t function properly, small stream of water down the middle with a spattering of sprinkles. Also fluctuated between scalding hot and cold. The staff was super nice at check in, but nobody is there overnight (after 10pm) and property is totally dark. Room was big and bright, so that was nice. Restaurant staff was very nice as well.

Nice hotel overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good food. The mattress was hard as a board. We only stayed two nights, but it messed up my neck and my husband's back. You can't hear people in the adjoining rooms, but you hear people in the pool or the loud music when there's entertainment.

The room had a couple dirty areas. We had to call reception to have someone clean the toilet since it was dirty, other than that, the hotel is a cute small boutique with a delicious restaurant and great staff

The hotel feels new and clean with imaginative layout and nice, large rooms with great amenities. It is obviously a repurposed building still in transition, though it doesn’t feel like you’re in a construction zone as renovations are on the opposite side of where completed rooms are. Kudos to the developer who saw its potential. Young staff eager to please. Excellent breakfast. Short walk to beach and restaurants.

Everything about this hotel was fantastic! They are clearly service-driven and focused on details.
The room was spotless and had everything we needed - by far the best hotel we stayed at in CR (and there were many).
The location is great if you're on foot - just a few mins walk to the beach, to some restaurants, and liquor/convenience stores.
Even though there was a list of included breakfast options, the kitchen was able to accommodate my friend who is gluten intolerant and myself who is vegan.
I would absolutely stay here again!

This place is amazing! The staff speaks English very well and are very helpful. The rooms are huge and decorated very tasteful. Easy access for handicapped people. We are not, but for the elderly people it would be great. Walk in shower and no stairs into the lobby or the rooms (first floor). Well maintained elevator to the second floor.

Our room was the worst room I have ever stayed in. It didn’t look like the pictures at all. There were stains on the furniture. We left the hotel within 1 hr . The room had a musty smell that was bothering my throat, the hotel tried to cover this up with a very strong perfume smell. My wife felt very unsafe at this property. They didn’t even have any staff on overnight. To make matters worse we were supposed to be there for 5 nights and the hotel refused to refund us at all. Please think twice before booking this hotel.

Property looked amazing in the pictures and the room and pool really was great! Updated and beautiful.
Bathroom was not updated. Toilet had stains. Shower did not drain properly. Shower door did not close properly.
They are working on renovating the property and we were the only guests staying at night so it was alittle spooky.
Breakfast and service was amazing.

Honestly it’s much better than it looks in the pictures. The room is big, clean and comfy. The restaurant staff (Rodrigo) is the best. He knew we needed to leave early, so he had our breakfast ready for us!
The hotel is located close to the marina, 20 min from playa Blanca, literally paradise, and 30 min from Carara national park. Overall experience was much better than expected.

Easy walk to the beach. However the Herradura and Jaco areas were the first and only place in Costa Rica where people were Not "Pura Vida". Rude, in fact. The hotel is fine, the restaurant was great and the staff were great. I would avoid Jaco at all costs.

Bed was exceptionally hard, honestly not very easy to sleep in. Swim-up bar seems to be closed during the off season, though the pool was nice. The second restaurant is a public beach bar, and the access to the associated "beach club" is kind of unclear (and it is an extra cost to get a chair and umbrella). We did love having the free shuttle to the beach. The restaurant on the premises was just OK for the price, though the service was great and we truly loved the breakfast (free!). Room smelled a little musty, but was nicely appointed. Honestly, place felt a little empty and weird, perhaps due to it being the rainy season?

SO NICE!!! We mentioned in passing while we were checking in that we would not be able to enjoy the free breakfast because we had to leave for our flight at 2:30am, and she INSISTED that a staff member bring it to our door to go!!! And then the security guard helped us pack the car at 3:00am!! Amazing service, adorable, clean, and modern rooms, love the key pad instead of the physical key, love the pool and swim up bar!! WOULD STAY AGAIN!!!:)))

The appears very new. Beautiful pool and nice small restaurant. Service was excellent. Staff at the front desk, pool bar and restaurant were all very helpful and spoke English. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed with the experience overall. We only stayed here because we had an emergency trip from Panama to Costa Rica and were forced to bring our new dog so we had to stay at a dog friendly hotel. .
We searched and found this hotel near our old home. We reserved 2 king size rooms and booked the hotel. Nowhere were we told about the extra dog fees. Had we been i still likely would have stayed anyhow. I just like knowing and expect clarity and forthrightness. When we first arrived i felt like we were at the wrong place as we were getting funny looks. It wasn't a warm welcome, Second the lovely young lady (being serious as she was very sweet and the only reason i didn't give 1 star) attempted to convince us to change room types. We were asked was there a reason we chose this room type. I replied with yes we picked king size beds. After them doing some checking they said they had double rooms. I said fine its not what we want but the trip was a challenge so we just accepted it and moved on. We saw everywhere says dog friendly and they had water dishes although most had no water. I asked about an area for dog relief and was told you can go across the street. We did and it was filled with trash and broken glass. Lots more on my gmaps review.

Long story short! - this place is AMAZING through and through. We had plans to go to Tortuga Island but lost hope when we noticed that everything was booked for the next few days. Steven and Lindsey at reception somehow made it happen! We were super excited because my friend was planning on proposing to his girlfriend there. I mentioned this fact to Steven and Lindsey and they went out of their way to decorate their room with flowers and a personalized card! They were the absolute sweetest!! My friends were beyond surprised when they got back to their hotel room.
We also received outstanding service from Edwin at the restaurant/pool area.
I also wanted to shout out the chef - the food was delicious and quite honestly the best food our group had in all of Costa Rica.
Truthfully we had one of the best and most memorable experiences in this hotel.
