"Chateau Jolene" is a designer-decorated chalet in the heart of Massanutten with a deck that is second-to-none, complete with a brand new hot tub, cedar barrel sauna, fire table, dining for 10, and views of the mountain ridge. Inside, you'll love the modern treehouse feel of the light-drenched great room and the fully equipped kitchen with new appliances. Bedrooms are spacious and modern, including the master with great views from the wall of windows. Also, pet friendly! The home layout is as follows: Second level: - BR1: Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom Main level: - Great room with wood burning fireplace - Kitchen with all new stainless appliances and beverage cooler - Dining area with table for 8. There is an additional dining area for 4 plus bar seating for 3. - Half bath, newly renovated - Deck with table seating for 10, propane grill, hot tub with bar seating for 3, sauna, and multiple couches Lower level: - BR2: King bedroom - BR3: Queen bedroom with desk workspace area - BR4: Queen bedroom - BR5: Two Queen bedroom - BR6: Twin-over-full bunk beds with foosball table and a fun LED light system - Two full bathrooms - Laundry room with full size washer and dryer Other things to note - Chateau Jolene is pet friendly! The back deck is fully gated so your furry friends can enjoy the space alongside you, and we provide some helpful supplies for pet-owners. - We provide our guests $1500 of coverage for accidental damage to the property or its contents. The cost of this coverage is already embedded in the cleaning fee. - Massanutten offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, ropes course, golfing, and much more. There is also an indoor / outdoor water park that is open year-round. Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away, as are fantastic restaurants, breweries, and wineries. - The property has a large circular driveway that can accommodate 5-6 vehicles. - Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and deck. Each bedroom, plus the great room, features a smart TV where you can access all the main streaming services. - We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options - Guests can enjoy community pool access in the summer season ($6 per-person additional fee is required) - Pack n play, high chair, board games and puzzles provided - Note that this home has a wood-burning fireplace, which we DO allow guests to use (some other rental homes in the area don't allow fireplace usage). If you are particularly sensitive to the smell of a fireplace, consider booking another property.

This house has everything you need in a mountain vacation rental. #1 being that all the beds and pillows are comfy!! The house has all the little homey extras like coffee pods for the keurig, wood for the fireplace, random kitchen essentials, good pots and pans, and useful items and toys for the kids. The sauna and hot tub and wood burning fireplace were the perfect complement to our snowy weekend! The virtual guide for the home answers all the questions you could have and also walks you through all the details and little tips to using the hot tub, sauna, and general use of the home. The host was very kind and responsive, and the type of person that you feel comfortable and happy to rent from! The location is great and the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful with winding roads and spread out houses among the hills and trees. 100% would return to this house! Thanks again to Chris, our great host.

It was great overall. Sometimes the water didn’t get very hot in some showers and the room with the bunk beds are not really for adults (the weight capacity is low) so we had to figure it out. I would budget for less people than the capacity written but other than that, it was a great space.

I cannot say enough about this property and the owner. It is warm, well equipped, very elegant, but also very cozy. We were here for our wedding and really made it the base of all operations....everyone loved coming around and hanging in the living room, kitchen and of course the deck. A very small event (less than 12 people) we were able to host our own reception dinner and continue the evening outside around the fire pit. Smooth and easy communication with the owner and someplace we will happily endorse for others.

Chris was an excellent host and responsive to all questions I had prior to our arrival. He made sure we were settling in just fine. The house guidebook was quite helpful! We absolutely loved our stay at Chateau Jolene. It was the perfect home base for our elopement at SNP. Space was ample for our family and us. We ended up with only 9 of us. Everyone said beds were very comfortable and the basement was very sound proof. The hot tub was fantastic after a long drive in the car. Kitchen was well stocked, we used the wine cooler for wine and our bottled water! Luckily we were able to enjoy the outdoor space until tropical storm Ophelia arrived late Friday night. Thank you so much for the memories Chateau Jolene!

This place was everything we could have wanted it to be. Me and my wife booked it to stay at for our wedding and it helped make it that much more magical. The house was perfect for kids and dogs and I would recommend to anyone. The host was responsive and amazingly helpful.

This home is lovely! Clean and welcoming! Plenty of gathering places, on the deck with the fire table watching the stars, at the dining table sharing a good meal or playing games, or in the spacious great room relaxing with the fireplace all so very cozy! Great area to walk or jog on quiet streets. Very easy to reach the property manager. Personal code on the door lock made it simple for multiple guests to get in and out. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are well stocked. Best house in Massanutten!

While we happened to pick the warmest weekend of the year that left us with no snow and a sold out water park, it didn't even matter since we had this beautiful home to relax in. We had everything we needed and knew exactly what to expect due to the helpful guide that the owner's provided via email ahead of time. This house has more charm that I can begin to list, but also with a beautiful modern twist. The neighborhood is in a great spot with trails nearby. I highly recommend a stay in this oasis. It will be on our visit again list for sure!

My family and friends decided to do a getaway to the mountains to celebrate my 30th and we couldn't have asked for a better stay! The house is stunning from the interior decor to the stunning views from the back deck. The interior of the house was clean and very spacious but cozy. All starter amenities were provided and more, the kitchen is decked out with everything you could need. The back deck was a popular spot with the sauna, hottub and firepit. The host, Chris, was very very responsive and even sent us a guide for the house everything to do nearby. I would strongly recommend this house for your trip to Massanutten.

Beautiful and clean .Beautiful view for my family's to spend Christmas in the mountains. To bad we couldn't use the frie pit or eat outside cause it was to cold.but overall it's still amazing ..
