About this house rental

Located in Fort Payne, this attractive house for $146 per night is a great option for your next break. Ready to disconnect and relax? Grab a drink and hop in the hot tub, or build a fire in the firepit. Enjoy coffee and a book from the porch while watching the deer and other wildlife wander nearby. Very convenient location! Only minutes from downtown Fort Payne, Mentone, Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon. Very quiet cabin in the woods! This cabin shares 20 acres in the woods with a few of our others. Each are spaced out to keep it private and relaxing! It was built in late 2019 and finished in early 2020. It is completely self-sufficient, fully-furnished with all appliances. We now have Wi-Fi! So, if you *have* to work, or if you're needing to binge watch your favorite Netflix shows, you can now do so! Each of our cabins have a private hot tub located on the covered back deck, a fire pit, and a campsite style charcoal grill. All of the kitchens are fully equipped with all the basic appliances and utensils you should need to prepare your favorite meals if you're looking to stay in. We use Keurig pod coffee makers in each of our cabins, so grab your favorite blend! This cabin has a queen size bed and a full-size sleeper sofa. Things you should know! All sheets and linens are provided. We provide a starter roll of toilet paper and paper towels, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine tablet. We also provide a few K-cups to get you started. According to your length of stay, you may want to bring extra coffee, detergents and garbage bags. We do not provide any toiletries at this time. Phone service can be limited, however, we have signal boosters in each of our cabins. AT&T and Verizon seem to work fine, though we have been told that T-Mobile/Sprint users didn't have signal. Having wi-fi now may allow many modern phones to operate over it.

We decided to take a Christmas break for a couple of days and it was just the relaxing retreat that I imagined. Clean, quiet and comfortable all apply to Owl’s Nest. Enjoyed this time in a truly beautiful setting.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. While you can see the outlines of other cabins for the trees, you also get a lot of privacy. It was very quiet, and the gate at the drive made it feel extra safe. Fort Payne is so charming. We took Quincy up on his recommendations for food and did not regret it. We took advantage of the hiking in the area DeSoto State Park Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon. All we're lovely and made the hot tub that much better in the evening.. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away and relax.

Just shock at how lovely and beautiful it was, it was well pass my expectations the cabin was very clean, good location, and the roght amount of nature . Kust very peaceful will be going back in a couple of weeks will make this place our second honeymoon.

My wife and I came for a short getaway. The cabin was as advertised, if not better. The cabin was spotless, we had everything we needed, the furnishings were very comfortable and the hot tub was just what our backs needed after a long drive. The location was great, not in town but a short drive to Fort Payne, Mentone and area attractions.

Owl Neat was the so cozy and beautiful .My husband and I stayed a week and we enjoyed it so much .We enjoyed the hot tub & grilling .We will be back .You want be disappointed in renting this cabin .The owners was so nice .

Host sent great communication that made check in simple. Cabin is exactly as listed, very clean and good privacy. Close to Desoto State Park, Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon Falls. We enjoyed our long weekend.

We celebrated our 12th anniversary at the cabin and loved every second of it. The cabin was a great fit for two people. While there were other cabins around, they are private due to flora and positioning to where we never really saw nor worried about other guests. Even our time outside in the hot tub felt private and secluded.

Needed a quick trip just to get away from all the busy holiday season. Booked this one solely because of hot tub and serenity. Had a great time. Plenty of local shopping close by and the property owner checked in through messaging to see if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend.
