About this cabin rental

Located in Fort Payne, this attractive cabin for $137 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Ready to disconnect and relax? Grab a drink and hop in the hot tub, or build a fire in the firepit. Enjoy coffee and a book from the porch while watching the deer and other wildlife wander nearby. Very convenient location! Only minutes from downtown Fort Payne, Mentone, Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon. Very quiet cabin in the woods! This cabin shares 20 acres in the woods with a few of our others. Each are spaced out to keep it private and relaxing! It was built in late 2019 and finished in early 2020. It is completely self-sufficient, fully-furnished with all appliances. We now have Wi-Fi! So, if you *have* to work, or if you're needing to binge watch your favorite Netflix shows, you can now do so! Each of our cabins have a private hot tub located on the covered back deck, a fire pit, and a campsite style charcoal grill. All of the kitchens are fully equipped with all the basic appliances and utensils you should need to prepare your favorite meals if you're looking to stay in. We use Keurig pod coffee makers in each of our cabins, so grab your favorite blend! This cabin has a queen size bed and a full-size sleeper sofa. Things you should know! All sheets and linens are provided. We provide a starter roll of toilet paper and paper towels, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine tablet. We also provide a few K-cups to get you started. According to your length of stay, you may want to bring extra coffee, detergents and garbage bags. We do not provide any toiletries at this time. Phone service can be limited, however, we have signal boosters in each of our cabins. AT&T and Verizon seem to work fine, though we have been told that T-Mobile/Sprint users didn't have signal. Having wi-fi now may allow many modern phones to operate over it.

I rate our stay as “Good” only because we were disappointed in the hot tub cleanliness. There was was a bit of a scum ring left the day after our dip in the tub. And yes we did comply with showering prior to entry. The neighboring cabins are a little closer together than expected but arranged to be private enough. Overall good experience

We Have had a wonderful time. The cabin is one beautiful place very cozy and private very peaceful and relaxing for us all. This is a 5 star rating all the way..We will be back but for a weeks stay next year same time

Had such a peaceful time at Squirrels Nest Cabin at Little River! Super clean and the Cabin had everything we needed to relax for a long weekend! We will definitely be returning.

New and isolated enough cabin, quiet, clean, convenient and well equipped. Suggestion is to have bug-nets to be able to open windows. Also need instructions to clean jacuzzi water. Would come back at different seasons.

Cabin was very clean and pretty. Plenty of cookware if needed. It’s located privately in the woods but not secluded just right. Great hot tub on back of cabin. Owner very helpful.

As advertised a very nice new cabin. Had everything you need except maybe for a hair dryer which ought to be provided in such an otherwise nice place. Hot tub was nice but on the small side, ideal for two people though.

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. It was very clean and they made sure we had plenty of supplies during our stay. We were right down the road from Desoto State Park which was really nice. Overall, we would definitely recommend this cabin and will definitely book here again!

My wife and I got a cabin and my parents rented one next door. We were in town for June Jam and the property was everything we could ask for. Cabins were nice and clean and had everything you would need for a week away. The kitchen was fully stocked. Full size washer and dryer and they had the hot tub on and already heated for us when we arrived. The second was nice and rustic, perfect for a Cabot in the woods. The host was very quick responding to the questions that came up. We couldn’t have asked for a better property. We will be visiting here again when we come back to Fort Payne!

Great property! We stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary. Overall great cabin. The place was very clean and well maintained. I do wish there would have been a T.V in the bedroom and it's not quite as private as photos make it seem, but it's private enough. The hot tub was fantastic. I would 100% stay here again.

We loved it ,very pretty ,clean and quiet .I did want to be a little more secluded into the woods personally ,in the winter time you can see the owners house ,and this cabin does have a neighbor ,but it was still a very private and cozy stay and the hot tub area is secluded as well. We are already planning a weekend trip back with our boys ! 2 cabin rentals next time .Quincy and his wife offered to take care of whatever we needed ,the notebook on the table to leave your message was a cute ending to a nice getaway . Would definitely give 5 stars and the town was to cute !

Great place to visit. Located between Fort Payne and Menetone. Lots of cool places to see and shop. We loved visits at Desoto State Park, Little River Canyon and shopping at local shops in Menetone We will visit again soon

Loved the location and proximity to town. The cabin was perfect for us. Very clean, was not as secluded as we had thought, you can see the owners home directly behind, off in the distance, and the other surrounding cabins (but its winter time and all the leaves had dropped.) Probably more secluded in the spring and summer when the trees give more coverage. Overall, very happy with our stay and the cabin is beautiful. We will definitely be back in the spring and stay in one of their other cabins! We love Fort Payne!

We loved our stay! Very clean and quiet. No wifi or tv service but it was a few things to watch on "The Hopper" DVR. -if you are looking to disconnect from technology and relax, this is the place! Will recommend and return!

This was the most relaxing place we've ever stayed at. The hot tub melted all our stress away and the rain on the metal roof one night was the best sleep ever.
