An absolutely lovely house steeped in character - a perfect get away for our Reading Retreat. Very comfortable stay overall. Claire was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We had a fabulous long weekend indulging in the log burner and enjoying the house as well as the surrounding countryside. Tesco delivered to the house without problem, the only issue we did find was transport - the bus picks up from the end of the street but doesn't drop off there and buses don't run on Sundays so we had to invest in a lot of taxi's to get around (we came on public transport to Abergavenny). We had a lovely brunch at Book-ish in Crickhowell and can recommend the local Indian (Red Indigo) although take away is collection only!

A stunning property and a magical stay. The host has created a very special retreat in a beautiful part of the world. The attention to detail is superb and they have thought of everything. We didn't want to leave. Can't recommend it highly enough we will definitely be visiting again. Bravo on the cleanliness too it was a pleasure to arrive to such well kept property A+++++
