Prospect Cottage is ideal for hikers, with easy access to a fantastic network of local footpaths and near to open moorland. The Alma Pub is less than 10 minutes walk, and there's even an hourly bus from Halifax via Sowerby Bridge that stops almost outside - we used it after walking over the tops to Hebden Bridge.
The cottage is well set up for two people and has a fabulous garden. The owner is next door and is on hand to help if necessary. The various roads leading to the cottage are all steep and narrow, so it isn't ideal for those expecting to come-and-go by car at lot.
Water pressure was low, and occasionally non-existent. But the water is great for drinking when it eventually turns up!

Very cosy and relaxing. Beautiful views and nice place for walks. The owners are really friendly and happy to help with anything you need.
A little damp in the bathrooms in the wetter months but to be expected for the historic period property.
