The staff are very nice, respectful and helpful. They made everything very easy. The hotel rooms are very clean and nice. The hotel's location is amazing, just 3 minutes walk to Aya Sophia and the Basilica, and about 10 minutes to Topkapi. The hotel is also two minutes walk from the tram station that gets you anywhere. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there next time.

Close to everything.
Clean and well maintained hotel.
Staffs are very helpful.
Would be better if theres a change in the menu for breakfast even every other day.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Shining Star. Clean room, cleaned plus towels and supplies replenished daily, excellent breakfast buffet. Courteous staff. Also great location, a few minutes walking from most major touristic objectives in Sultanahmet, and a few minutes walking from the airport bus drop off/ pickup. Overall, great budget hotel.
