The hotel itself is lovely, lovely rooms, nice pool, rooftop etc. Beds very comfortable and quiet.

The pool was not cleaned first thing so I couldn’t swim before 9.30am as was full of dead bugs. In general the staff were nice but seemed a bit unhappy. More smiles and offers to help would have been better. They seemed stressed sometimes.

Our suite was lovely, great size, and bed very comfortable. The location was great and the food was very good. The pool was nice and quiet. The staff, including the amazing manager Veronica were friendly and extra helpful.

Our first evening there was a concert in a nearby venue that was a bit loud for us to sleep.

It was within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in the town. Parking was ok but I think if you paid then you could access their underground parking which I assume would have more spaces than street parking. The rooms were clean and our room had a nice bed and couch.

The main issue is that the hotel is quite expensive for something that is only a little better than a basic hotel. If the price was lower I would rate it as a good choice a lower-budget trip. The bathroom was tiny, the shower was just about big enough for me to turn around inside but the water got out everywhere so you found yourself slipping on the wet marble floor. They only give you one very small floor towel which is soaked after the first shower in the morning and then the rest of the day you have a little swimming pool :) We did ask for an extra towel but housekeeping took it away a few hours later and I couldn't be bothered to keep asking for another one. The room was really big and even had a kitchen, I would have preferred some of that space was used to make the bathroom bigger. Breakfast is basic but it was enough to have food. Nothing was bad but nothing was particularly good.
