Very smart, compact, well decorated cottage in the centre of Newborough village with services nearby. Clearly marked parking, small patio and larger communal garden area (which sadly we didn't use due to poor weather during our brief stay). Spacious bedrooms and easily accessible shower.
Sofas were small and quite hard. We live in a cottage ourselves so understand the challenges of finding appropriately sized furniture for smaller lounges - these just need to be higher quality to offer comfort to all ages of guests. Again mattresses not of the comfort and quality expected for the price paid which is a pity as the bedrooms themselves are gorgeous.

Uneasy about paying a separate deposit. Quite a few rules for checking out.

Home from home. Lovely decor and very comfortable

Beautifully decorated property with really comfy beds. Bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. Nice kitchen and diner. Good location and plenty of off road parking. Communal outside space as well as a smaller private courtyard with picnic table. Though it’s on the main road, you really don’t notice it.
Sofas in living room are extremely small and uncomfortable. The property is part of a larger building that has been divided, and in the larger bedroom and kitchen we could hear every word of conversations from the larger rental next door. The radio in the kitchen did help mitigate this.
I also found the combination of the additional damage deposit and lists of rules and charges a little excessive and off-putting. The owners have obviously had trouble in the past, but most reasonable and decent people don’t need to be lectured in this way about how to use a rental property. It made me feel a little unwelcome and quite on edge. I understand the owners are entitled to protect their property in whatever way they wish, but the tone was not for me.
