The location is beautiful, set alongside the River Meon with wonderful wildlife. Kay welcomed me and is a lovely, friendly and helpful host. The accommodation is comfortable, a heater is provided but although it got chilly in the night, I found I ended up removing the thick quilt at times. Very peaceful overnight. The toilet is in a separate cabin with the shower and the whole is set a good 100 yards from other habitation. My 6.30am alarm call was an Otter saying goodnight to it's love right outside the cabin before sliding off up the river !!!
The shower, although effective, was very small and I accidentally slipped against the back panel as I showered and it popped, fortunately I assume not irreparably. It didn't feel substantial. The driveway down to the property where you park is a bit lumpy and bumpy but the getting out again, if you were in a low profile vehicle could be tricky. It is quite steep.
If you are simply overnighting, as I was, it is tranquil but if you were hoping for the same during the day, sadly, there is a busy road, out of sight on the other side of the river, the Warnford Road A32, creating a lot of noise and a pack of Fox Hounds nearby who start up around daylight.

good location for fishermen who want a slight upgrade from a tent
Not too clean, weird smell of un ventilated room, very basic, like VERY basic. non flush outside toilet. way over priced for what you get.
