An eccentric experience with a multi-generational family who owns an old record store on the ground floor. The location is great, very centric. They can arrange tours. We went with their son to the black river, which was great experience. For breakfast we went to the market area by the old train station. At a bakery you can buy fresh baguettes and have a warm drink at the coffee/tea stall where all the mototaxi drivers meet. We were greeted by our driver from the day before.
A modest accommodation, for that maybe a tad too pricy, but there are hardly any alternatives this central. The bathroom could be cleaner. But to their credit, the family tries to be good hosts. It may have just been a misunderstanding as we hadn't announced a specific arrival time was that I got a message from booking that the hosts claimed we didn't come. We arrived at around 4 or 5 PM I think, so hardly super late that you can claim someone hasn't arrived. Nothing else came of it after reporting to booking that we did in fact stay there.

Lovely, welcoming family who offers rooms for guests on the upper floor of the house.
Clean, spacious room with a communal living room and balcony to relax. I enjoyed my stay here a lot.
The place is about a 10min walk from the busstation where the mini-bus coming from Cotonou stops. You can also catch a shared taxi from there.

The fact that the family who ran this was very welcoming and made you feel right at home. Great source of information for any potential needs.
Some hangers would have been super, for clothing and toilet bag.
