Lovely location and ethos of the group of Cottages. Very well stocked and comfortable in Workshop Cottage.

What a lovely cottage beautifully located in the middle of nowhere you can feel the silence at night once the birds stop. The cottage is simple but comfortable and v well equipped with lots of wood giving a rustic feel. And wonderful thick stone walls warm in winter and cool in summer. The Ecco side is nice and not obtrusive. Everything works and there is a dishwasher and a washing machine. The owners live next door and only appear when asked and are friendly and helpful. We had some good chats. They love wildlife but you don’t have to be a nature lover to enjoy the house and the wonderful views. On the other hand if you are this is flora paradise and there are sheep in the fields. Take layers. It can be warm and it can be cold in the same day. Winds from the sea. Plenty to do in the surrounding area and walking. We loved it.
