Millstream Cottage is set in 550 acres of private & beautiful Nature Reserve. It has excellent on-site facilities, including an outdoor heated swimming pool, water sports, bike hire, tennis, fishing, restaurant, bar & pizza shack. No spa access.
Sleeping 6 with 3 bedrooms, it has 2x doubles (1 with ensuite), 1x twin room, family bathroom and downstairs WC. This cottage offers a well-equipped kitchen, separate open plan living/dining area & deck overlooking the Mill Race. Pets welcome.

Excellent Water Sports - Paddle boarding, kayak, canoe & rowing boats
Somerford Lagoon can only be used for non-powered water sports between the 1st of April and the 30th of September
In order to minimise disturbance to overwintering wildfowl, the footpaths to the Southern and Eastern edge of Somerford Lagoon are not accessible from the 1st of October to the 31st of March
Spinney Lake is available for non-powered water sports all year.

Cottage was exactly how it was advertised and was great for our family (including one dog) for a long weekend. It was very well appointed and exceptionally clean. We had one very minor issue whilst staying (portable room fan not working - it was the hottest weekend of the year so far!) and contacted Orion Holidays who demonstrated exceptional customer service by responding and remedying within a couple hours.
The only negative for the estate is the lack of parking - each property generally has one allocated parking space, any family with an additional car had to park in another area which wasn’t a problem for us. But this space wasn’t big enough and resulted in other users parking on verges and receiving notes on their windscreens. Not their fault really - they had parked as best they could when all other spaces were taken!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mill Village. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. The outside areas are very well maintained and it is a lovely setting, close to the lake.

We were pleasantly surprised by our accommodation being on a large complex. We had a house to sleep 6. 2 double en suite bedrooms and a smaller room with 2 single beds more suited to children. A fully equipped kitchen with washer dryer and a d/washer &fridge/freezer. The lounge and dining area were comfortable. All in all an ideal spot to either use the amenities on site or to use as a base to explore the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

We all enjoyed Mill Village, my teens especially enjoyed the heated pool. The lakes and surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. There was plenty to do for all ages. The cottage we stayed in was very clean and cute. My only negative comments would be that as dogs are allowed it should have a side gate to keep pets secure at the back of the property. The beds and sofas were uncomfortable and let the cottage down.
