Situated in Port Aransas, this charming house for $617 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. PRIME LOCATION - HEATED POOL. 4 bedroom 3 bath vacation rental located in the heart of Port Aransas 1/4 mile to the beach. Spacious, well equipped kitchen with granite counters, lots of cabinets and storage open to living and dining area with high ceilings. Tile flooring throughout. Extensive decking in front and back of home to enjoy the sun and sea breeze. 2 master bedrooms and baths with King beds. Third bedroom with King bed and the fourth bedroom is a bunk room with 3 bunk beds. Plenty of covered parking under the house. Massive gas grill and shrimp boil burner and pot are here too! Sand Castle Drive is a lively street with direct access to the beach. Easy golf cart access to town and the beach. Easy walk to the beach! Cart included!! Rates quoted are for up to 8 guests. Accurate guest counts must be provided so that we can provide sufficient towels and linens and supplies. Additional guests are $25 per stay. NOTE: The top bunks are for children less than 100 lbs. only. This house is ideally suited for 3 adults couples and some children therefor we recommend no more than 6 adults in the house. The front steps and driveway are covered by a security camera on the front porch and is recorded anytime motion is detected. NOTE: Golf Cart usage is included but is subject to a separate agreement and you must text your driver's license and proof of insurance to us before you operate our cart. Golf cart operators must be at least 21 years old. We heat the pool Nov 1 to Mar 31 to 90 degrees. Heating to higher temperatures and other times can be arranged for a fee. The pools are serviced twice a week and will require occasional closures to allow chemicals to dissipate. This is usually no more than a couple hours. There are no refunds for occasional pool is closures for cleaning, repairs or maintenance, or if pool temperature is undesirable.

60 seconds from the beach!! Perfect house for our family vacation. More than enough room for everyone. Home included towels, beach towels, kitchen essentials and everything else you can think of. After day 1 we said we plan on staying here again next summer. The best part was having a golf cart included and huge private pool!!!!

Very nice property, has everything we needed. Very close to beach access with plenty of parking space. Property manager was very responsive to any issues or questions. Golf cart was a bonus. Would definitely book again.

This was a perfect house for my husband and I, Grandparents and our 4 small children. The Bunk room was perfect for them and the 3 bedrooms for all the adults are great! We loved the lay out. The pool and outside area was a perfect pool with small children. We loved our stay!

We absolutely loved our time at this property and are considering returning for our family vacation next year. The house is beautiful and the location is so close to the beach. Our favorite part though was definitely the private pool. We had small children with us and the pool was a huge hit with them. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Port A.

We had a great time riding the golf cart to the beach, relaxing in the cool ac in the afternoon, and taking a swim in the private pool in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal for our family. We enjoyed our trip and would definitely search this property for a return trip!

We do an annual trip every year with our friends and family and we all agreed this house was the best. Most importantly it didn’t have a crazy amount of stairs. 1 easy flight, everything on the same level, fantastic! We also loved that you could easily park 3 vehicles in the shade. Unloading and loading in the Sun is no fun. There was tons of hooks inside and outside to hang your wet stuff or gear. Hose outside to rinse vehicles and gear off. Super comfortable interior. They really thought of every little detail to make the trip that mush easier. Great place, we’ll be back Forsure.

We loved our stay at Sandbar Retreat and Port A (first timers) for Spring Break! We normally go to Florida, this was our first time on the Texas gulf. The home exceeded our expectations. In fact, it is one of the best homes we have ever stayed in and the host, Thomas, is above the "WOW" factor in providing great communication to allow vacationers to enjoy their stay while he takes care of ensuring everything runs smoothly. Sandbar Retreat is very roomy, clean, well-stocked, and in a good location to travel to the beach and around town. We had teen girls with us, and they enjoyed the heated pool. Having the golf cart was an added bonus to get to the beach and around Port A,. On recommendation made by the host, we ate dinner at Fins, it did not disappoint. We only regret not staying a day longer. Highly recommend!

We would have given the place 5 stars BUT the heat on the pool was turned off one day before we were checking out and it was so cold we could not use the pool the last day. We called at 4:00 after we were back from the beach and they adjusted or turned it back on but it never was warm enough to get in again. This was a huge bummer. We have two adult children with special needs and swimming is their biggest joy.
The rest of the stay was perfect. No complaints and super clean. Pay attention to restaurant recommendations from the owner. Every single one we tried was awesome!! We’d be back if it wasn’t for the pool heat issue.
The beach is great and the golf cart was so much fun to take around town. Get your groceries before you take the ferry. There are less options in Port A.

The property is very well stocked with everything you would need. The hosts even leave soap, shampoo and makeup wipes just like a hotel. There are more than enough (very large white) towels for everyone for showers and bathing. They have a nice selection of beach towels. We have stayed at many VBRO properties and this one is at the top for hospitality. The internet was fast enough my husband and I could work, our son played video games and we could still stream on the tv.
The pool is much larger than the pictures depict, and as a bonus it was 90 degrees. The pool is clean and you have plenty of privacy from neighbors.
We had a couple of questions throughout the stay and the hosts responded immediately. They were kind and very accommodating.
The washer and dryer are new (the pictures show older ones) and they are very large and perfect for washing large loads after a visit to the beach.
Our family will be back - thank you!

Large open area for cooking and dining, large bedrooms with comfy beds, clean home, great communication with the owners and a HEATED POOL! The pool was a huge hit with our boys, (4 & 6) they enjoyed that it was heated on those cool December nights!
Plenty of parking at this home as well! We are looking forward to returning this summer and staying again.

We LOVED our stay at the Sandbar Retreat. The property was so clean and comfortable. They had so many things provided in the kitchen, for the beach, and even some pantry staples. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water for lots of showers, and the kitchen appliances were in great working order. The owner was helpful with information and tips prior to our trip and clear about how to manage the pool and golfcart so we could keep them in the nice condition we found them. We had two families with a total of 6 children and we all fit comfortably and found it to be a great home, close to the beach, and well appointed. I would recommend this to others...or keep a secret for ourselves because we will be back!

House was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The pool and outdoor shower were both very nice! The only negative was that at time of booking, it said it slept 12 people. There were 12 in our group but the trundle beds in the bunk room are not able to be used at the same time so one person had to sleep on the sofa, which is NOT a sleeper sofa and was not comfortable. If you are booking for 10 or less, this is a great find!

This property was amazing! We loved how there were 4 bedrooms AND three bathrooms. Each family was able to have their own space. Also, really nice that three bedrooms had KING beds for all the adults. We put the kids in the room with bunk beds. We all had plenty of room. Everything in the house was new and updated. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We cooked multiple dinners. The pool was a huge bonus. Having the golf cart made getting around fun and easy. The owner communicated well from the minute we booked including up to and during our stay when we had questions. You can tell they take great care of their property. I will recommend this property to anyone and I will surely stay again.

Overall great place. Very short distance to beach, private pool was nice, enjoyed the golf cart take family to beach(your not getting sand in your car), outside patio areas were a bit dirty, in the shared bathroom toilet seat was broken and so was the lock to the backyard, it was great for the owners to communicate that the place had everything you needed, pots, pans, one grill with propane the other charcoal AND boiling pot for crab boil! I can see myself come back to this beach house again!

Great rental, went beyond checking all the boxes!!!!! They really provide much more than anticipated! Made our summer vacation much easier. The location was fantastic and with the new pool, the kids loved it on non beach days! The owner is on top of everything and stays in communication should there be any issues.

This property is amazing. Super clean with everything you can imagine. Kitchen has everything you could ever need. Walk or take the golf cart to the beach and come back and relax in the pool while grilling some steaks on one of the two pits provided. We'll be back for sure!

We’ve been staying in Port Aransas for years and this was by far our favorite house. Loved the king beds and TVs in every room and the pool and golf cart were a huge plus as well. Highly recommend.

My husband has been coming to Port A for 30 years, I have been coming for 10 years. This house is by far the best place we have stayed. The private pool and golf cart is absolutely worth it and a must have! The house has everything and more you could possibly need. The owners really went above any beyond to make sure you lack nothing during stay. From usb outlets, to hooks, to beach towels, to pool/beach toys, to games, grills, etc. This house has it all and the location is amazing! We had 6 adults and 3 children (ages 2, 4 and 9). We have plenty of room and never felt like we were crammed. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. We appreciate all they have done to make the stay at this house 10/10. We can't wait to come back!

The will say the house is on a busy street as it is a direct access to the beach which was nice. I want to say that Property management -Thomas was always there when questions arise. This is the perfect location. Super close to the beach & nearby shops, bars and restaurants. The included golf cart was an AWESOME bonus. Communication with renter was quick and easy. The kitchen was stocked with everything and anything you could possibly need, even a lime squeezer!! Definitely recommend staying here.

The house is fully remodeled and is gorgeous. Close proximity to the beach with a fun golf cart. The pool is also great. It rained most of the time we were there so we spent most of our time inside and in the pool.
