Better than I expected TBH. Ate somewhere else but the room was OK!

Comfortable room - large. Modern. Good bathroom.

No window (skylight). Impossible to reach shaver charger! Pillows lack any support. Unmanned reception - charming girl arrived flustered and not sure what to do. Not her fault and she did her very best.

I loved being able to relax in the bathtub.

The air conditioning was running until I set the thermostat to 24°.

Will definitely stay agian when in the area and recommend

Staff very obliging. Originally thought I was traveling with friend and had requested twin beds. On my arrival I informed them that unfortunately my friend was unable to attend. Staff then suggested that they could make the bed into large bed , which they did making my night even more comfortable.

Good room, not great reception

When we finally checked in the room was big with working air con and a large bathroom. There was a window and mirrors

The staff were very unhelpful and came across as rude and uncaring. There was nowhere to store luggage. They did not want to check whether the room was ready for us to go to any time before 1400. The first room we arrived to had broken aircon but we reported it and were moved rooms immediately.

this was the 2nd time we stayed there and would stay again

ultra clean and the staff were proactive, especially the young lad that checked us in

Reasonable price with central location.

Room was satisfactory and met our needs. The breakfast room was, however, a little cool. The breakfast options were very good and at a reasonable price. The staff at all stages were very pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast area could have been warmer.

Exceptional

Just relaxing ..

On arrival,couldn't get in reception as no one there. Buzzed twice being told they were on there way,but took them over 10 minutes.. No fun when opposite toilets,and in every ones way..

I love this hotel and look forward to returning.

I think new cleaning team who missed cleaning a couple of things, but still excellent. Duvet needs to be bugger and definitely thicker.

Weatherspoons should have more hotels because we really enjoyed this one

Our second time stopping, we enjoyed the first time and it was just as good the second. Very friendly staff especially Mrs Earley. The pub is very large so always plenty of space and quick service. Clean well equipped rooms too.

The isn’t a car park so you have to use the nearby car park which only allows parking for max 4 hours

Great stay at the John Russell Fox

It was a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Andover, The room was very comfortable/clean and had a fantastic shower in the bathroom, I wouldn't hesitate booking at the John Russell Fox again, The staff were polite and very friendly.

Almost all the food on the menu was unavailable due to a delayed delivery, had to have sausage, chips and beans. These things happen.

No signs to reception, not even an indication of which floor to take the lift. Warren-like interior. Monosyllabic evening receptionist. Dingy cavern of a restaurant.

Difficulty booking in as we were at a wedding and could not book in after 2.00 and there was no flexibility. Impossible to talk to anyone at the location.

fire alarm going off at 4.am in the morning because someone had a shower without shutting the shower or bathroom door and this set the fire alarm off

Slightly overpriced but decent

Was very nice and although on the pricier side was very happy with the room

Mattress was solid and a little uncomfortable for the first night as we didn’t realise the 2nd pillows were on top of the wardrobe Fire alarm went off multiple times at 5am
