Excellent facilities, clean, cosy private room
Walls were thin so could hear everything going on outside the room which was only an issue on the Saturday night

Very convenient location regarding the purposes of my visit and a result of a last minute booking. The beds are comfortable, the minimum necessities were provided and the premises, especially the toilets and showers were very clean. The check-in starts early and that's also very convenient. The staff was nice and helpful.
Despite any negatives indicated, it still trumps other dorms just out of cleanliness and location alone. So if your trip is for leisure I would consider this property.
The rooms when you reserve are indicated as 30m2 and there is no distinction in price for the top or the bottom bed. I believe that is not fair as the bottom one is almost like a room without a front wall and the top one is pretty much a crawl space. Granted, maybe you are slightly more removed from noise happening in the room in the top one, but I'm a short person with a longer torso and I would not fit in that space while sitting down while my back was upright...
Also, imho, the shower doors do not give enough privacy for a mixed bathroom also from the POV of someone just brushing their teeth and trying to avoid looking at the mirror. Just make them opaque in the center...
A punctual event, but there was an issue with the wi-fi and the new password was provided in handwriting and although I tried many combinations and I was not able to connect to the network. Being very busy with the purpose of my stay during the day/evening; every time I got to the hostel it was late to make a contact about this.

Super central location in a quiet Kreuzberg street. The area felt safe, is close to the U bahn and bus stops and within walking distance to lots of bars, restaurants and shops, and a market at the end of the road on some days. Great design with lots of space per bed. Nice clean bathrooms. Very quiet almost silent inside the building the whole time I was there. Comfy beds with great storage and facilities. Communal kitchen / lounge is well equipped.
Would prefer to have curtains across the end of the bed pods for added privacy and also to control light pollution from other beds at night which kept me awake slightly when others left lights on and went out.

Really clean, good facilities and good location. Easy to access, the check in and check out are seamless.
Everything is great but the bunk rooms would be improved with some curtains or blinds on the main windows. All the bunks are open, which is fine but was a bit surprising. But the windows in the bunk room open onto a courtyard and there are people coming and going through the night which sets off a couple of security lights so it can be very difficult to get to/stay asleep. If they sorted this it would be an absolutely brilliant hostel.
