En mi segunda vez en la isla volví a elegir este alojamiento. En el lugar vive una pareja encantadora, que está todo el tiempo allí para ayudarte con lo que necesites. Todo estaba muy limpio y en buen estado. Había agua caliente. Si bien no queda tan cerca del malecón, la zona es sumamente segura por lo que se puede ir y venir andando a cualquier hora. Además el taxi al malecón solo cuesta 2 usd. En la zona hay farmacias, supermercados y demás servicios a menos de cien metros. Vayan!! No pueden perderse las risotadas de Elena ni los bailes de Javier.

Tiene cocina privada y se puede usar la heladera del local.
Las camas son cómodas. Te proporcionan agua potable.
La ducha es muy potente.
El aire acondicionado se apagó varias veces y hay que pedir que lo re conecten. No se podía estar sin aire, hacía mucho calor.
Queda a más de 10 cuadras del muelle y la zona comercial, pero no fue un problema para mí. Es muy tranquilo y seguro para caminar, o se puede tomar un taxi por 2 dólares.

The rooms were both attractive, comfortable and clean. Most memorably, our hosts, Javier and Mari, made us feel like family. They helped us choose and book excursions to Isla Isabela and the Tour de la Bahía, helped us plan for a day trip to the most beautiful beach we have ever seen (Tortuga Bay), and even walked us to a local procession for Día de los Reyes Magos (Three Kings Day). In addition to the natural wonderland that the islands are, their caring, warm, cariñoso welcome and daily joy made our trip a deep delight and left us with a sense of connection to Galápagos that is heartfelt and human. If we are ever graced with the chance to return to Galápagos, we will be visiting our dear hosts and their charming property as paying guests AND as friends.
Hot water was sporadic in one room, and not offered in the other. This was no big deal given the warm weather.

Very friendly welcome. He helped to arrange a taxi for our early departure the next morning. He also arranged a breakfast 'to go' (but only after I asked- he initially just said we would miss breakfast) which we appreciated.
Kitchenette was not very well equipped and it was quite grubby. As it was we didnt have to use it as we were only staying one night and leaving early the next morning so we ate out.
