It was really central, 5 mins walk from the marina but the area was quiet and safe. The apartment was clean and well equipped.
The property has a policy of charging for anyone checking in after 7pm. €30 from 7 to midnight, €70 from midnight to 12.30 and €90 up to 1am. I'm not sure what happens after that. They have a lock box system on departure and it is difficult to understand why the same system can't apply to arrival. Our flight was delayed and our taxi arrived at 12.30, we were not sure where exactly the property was and at 12.32 (as per text on my phone) I texted the rep. He was waiting on the footpath near where our taxi had pulled in but as 2 women, late at night, we were slow to approach anyone we didnt know. We met, he showed us to the apartment and even though we had arrived at 12.30 we were charged €90. That is a really expensive add on for something we had no control over and which if he had been wearing a hi-vis or alternative as identification, could have been avoided. I felt it was a lack of goodwill to go from €70 to €90 when the charge was already quite steep. The rep was very polite but it was a poor start and felt like it was just another way to add a charge given that the company is happy to use a locked box on departure.

Localização excelente mesmo no centro de Vilamoura. Boa organização por parte da empresa gestora do imóvel. Estacionamento e piscina disponível altamente valorizados.
Embora a renovação do imóvel tenha sido bem feita, ainda existem algum pormenores a melhorar (acabamentos nas portas, candeeiros, etc).
O facto de o imóvel se situar num segundo andar sem elevador, dificulta à acessibilidade a pessoas com algum tipo de limitações.

Great location, apartment suitable for 3 people but small hard sofa bed would struggle to fit 4th person if all adults.
Upon arrival not shown anything in apartment just handed keys after paying for late check in. Went inside patio door wide open and struggled to close it and contact had already left. Not shown how to use anything or given any emergency contact details.
Only one key and fob between us. Asked for 2nd one told no. This was a pain as we all had to leave and arrive together all the time. As the key fob lets you in the block and the main gate.
