About this cottage rental
Summary:
Newly constructed unique cottage includes three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, covered porch with dining table, grill and a firepit. Very secluded property with lots of mature trees but still close to shopping and attractions. The Cottage is located behind the main house on the right side but is completely separate from the main house. It has dedicated parking and space to relax and enjoy nature. The driveway for the cottage is shared with the main house.
The Space:
The cottage offers one Master bedroom with a King bed with an ensuite bathroom. There are two other bedrooms with Queen beds and a full bathroom in the hallway. All bedrooms have tv's. There's a covered porch to sit and relax under, a grill for cooking out and a firepit to enjoy evenings outside. The driveway for the cottage is shared with the main house. Once you turn in you will see a sign the says WESLEY COTTAGE with an arrow showing you to stay to the right and you will see the cottage and your parking area.
Guest Access:
Key Pad is located on the backdoor which is located around the side under the covered porch. When you walk up you see two double doors keep
going around to the side. Located on the door is the key pad. To light it up touch the bottom left corner and then put in your code. You should
receive check in info 48 hours before check in. If you don't please let me know.
The Neighborhood:
Quiet and peaceful three acre lot with neighbors on each side of the house but spacious enough for privacy.
Other Things to Note:
Guest have access to all space around the cottage. the tennis court is for kids to play on.

Rooms clean. Beds comfortable Communication with the host was helpful. When we checked in, There was a note on the french doors in the kitchen stating "do not the use" as it was broken. Housekeeping could pay more attention to little details. We only used coffee cups during our stay & washed them by hand until just before check out. That's when we discovered that the previous guests loaded their dirty dishes (glasses, bowls, plates) but did not run the dishwasher. The gas grill was filthy(glad we didn't plan to use it) & the grilling utensils were laying on the ground in the dirt. The Toilet brush in the hall bathroom is absolutely disgusting. Remote for fan & Ceiling light in master bedroom doesnt work. The wall switch turned the fan on, but no light. Found a chipped drinking glass in the cupboard. We left it on the table with a note. Coffee maker wouldnt make a full large cup & it needs a thorough cleaning. Luckily we brought our own coffee maker. The lights over the table dont work. Body wash in the master shower was empty. Not everybody uses smart tvs or streaming so Instructions was using them would be helpful.

The property was perfect for what we needed - three bedroom, two bathroom for four adults and two teenagers and the pup. Plenty of room for the pup's crate (55lb so XL crate). I very much appreciated the Keurig and coffee plus all of the available accoutrements. The house was clean and welcoming. The yard was great for the dog. The only hiccup we had was that we were provided the wrong code for the door. I'd advised this was going to be an incredibly late arrival of 1-2am so getting there after a 7 hour drive and not being able to get into the house for five back-to-back calls was a bit frustrating.

This was our second stay at the cottage while visiting family in the area. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and it was convenient to get groceries and takeout. The plus side of the home is that it is pet friendly. Mike, the host, was super responsive to our questions. We will certainly stay at the cottage again when we return to the area in the future.
