This rustic place is ideal for a stay to break up a trip. The room was spacious. The staff was great and the on site hotel was terrific. Scenery was lovely.
The nearest town doesn't offer much by way of shops so if you have particular needs shop before arriving.

Lovely stop over. Excellent food and service at the pub on arrival. Delicious coffee in the morning. The river runs at the bottom of the property and gives a peaceful feel. Everything you need to make it comfortable and pleasant. Really worth it.
Wooden stairs leading to the rooms are a little rickety and may need maintenance soon.

Location is excellent. Good food at the pub.
Beds were not comfortable at all and linen is rather old and in need of replacement. (Was however very clean).
Pub allows smoking inside which was not great! Had to eat outside in the rather chilly breeze.
