Milly's is my favourite stop-over halfway to Gauteng, and I have been able to do my online meetings on a Friday morning from one of the restaurants/coffee shops twice, and it went perfectly well.
Everything is perfect at Milly's. Pricing is not too bad, and I think it's in line with the type of accommodation and facilities, etc. Service is excellent.

The location was great. The break in our drive was so welcome and the facilities and staff were so friendly. We had a nice relaxing meal in the restaurant with a nice view. It was safe and helped make our drive the next day not so tiring.
We are able to carry our luggage a flight of stairs, but would prefer not to do so. Be aware of some units enter with a flight of stairs to the accommodation. If staying for just a night, might want to bring just what you need. There is security so no worries.

Nice stopover in the area. Breakfast was good.
Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. Our room faced the petrol station, and there was significant noise from trucks arriving and departing throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. The room itself was quite small and, compared to the dam-facing rooms, felt overpriced for what was offered.
The bed was hard and not particularly comfortable. We also struggled to open the windows in both the bathroom and shower area, and the brick windowsills were dirty, with cobwebs and pigeon droppings. The television reception was also disappointing, with only one channel watchable as the others were too grainy.
On the positive side, the room included a pleasant coffee station and a small fridge, which were appreciated. The restaurant has a beautiful setting and lovely atmosphere, although it closes at 8:00 pm, so you need to order, finish dinner and be out of there before 8. We also really enjoyed the deli shop at the garage, which was a convenient and pleasant addition to the stay.
