Recently remodeled with a touch of millennial style, this cozy home offers comfortable seating throughout, Roku TV in the living room and each bedroom, and a pool table that doubles as a dining table. Cook up a storm in the spacious and well-stocked kitchen, or step outside to grill on the balcony while watching the sun set over the mountains. After a day of outdoor activities at Ski Cooper or Copper Mountain, soak in the hot tub and stargaze above. Built in the late 1970s, The Hilltop Haven has recently been remodeled to provide a comfortable and modern living space while still retaining its original charm. All 3 bedrooms offer a 12-inch memory foam Queen mattress for a great night sleep, and the house is located on the Leadville Race Series course for the 100 miler bike & run, making it the perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts. Book your stay at The Hilltop Haven and make memories that will last a lifetime. Guest Access: You're welcome to use the Kitchen, Living room, Balcony - anything really! As us about renting e-bikes to enjoy a ride around the Mineral Belt Trail! Note: we have a propane gas grill, but can’t guarantee that there is gas in the tank. Please plan accordingly if you plan to use the grill The Neighborhood: 4 blocks from downtown/main street Leadville! Also right on the Leadville Race Series course for the 100 miler bike and run. You'll be surrounded by the highest mountains in the Colorado Rockies where majestic scenery blends with a lively history. There is much to do during your stay including: - Skiing at nearby Ski Cooper, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek - Ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and Nordic skiing on the Mineral Belt Trail. - Mountain biking for any level of expertise. World-class hiking, mountain climbing, fishing and hunting. - Shopping, dining, visiting museums or taking a self-guided walking tour in a quintessential Victorian town. - Following the route of the Silver Kings in Leadville's Mining District. - Exploring ghost towns. - Four-wheeling from beginner level to the more advanced 13,186' Mosquito Pass, the highest vehicular road in the United States. Getting Around: Pretty much all of our guests bring a car to get around. There is plenty of parking and it's an easy walk to Main Street. Other Things to Note: License # 001640 This property does not have air conditioning. Parking is shared with the other units. There is also a two car limit for the driveway for this listing so please make sure to carpool if you need to! This home has 2 apartments on the bottom level of the home. The apartments have separate entrances and shouldn't affect your stay, but please note that noise travels easily so we have implemented the following quiet hours: 10pm - 8am during the week 11pm - 8am on weekends Yes, we are pet friendly -There is an additional pet fee if you are bringing a pet (2 pets max) - $70 +tax for one, $140 +tax for two. Note: under no circumstances can you leave your pet(s) unattended at the property - there are doggy day care/ dog boarding options or take your pet with you! Violations of this may be met with a $100 fine or we may ask you to check-out early. Outdoor Firepit is available. Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants. Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking. The house was great! Clean, open, and accommodating to our group. The views are amazing and a short walk to the main strip. The hot tub and fire pit are a blast!

We stayed here while my husband ran the Leadville 100. He was able to walk to the start line and I could watch the runners from the deck. The views of the mountains were great too. The inside of the home was much nicer than expected when you drive up.

First and foremost your property managers were so responsive - we had no propane and a clogged toilet when we first got there and they came right over. They were responsive online and just really great. House was nice…three bedrooms and two baths master bath very small. Hot tub was nice and porch amazing views!!!!! So nice to sit out there in the morning and in the evenings. We had a really lovely time that way. Also very close to town which was nice. Great family place and super nice and clean. Only small recommendations: put hooks in the bathrooms, bigger coffee pot, and maybe screens to keep the bees out. Thank you for a lovely Leadville stay

We stayed here during the annual skijoring weekend. The property was located close to the main strip and the hot tub and deck were very nice. I did not know there was another bnb directly under us, but we had no issues during our stay. Would stay again

Wonderful views and location in a slightly funky house. Check-in and out was with an app, which was nice in theory but it didn’t work smoothly. It didn’t update with the right door code, or have the latest Wi-Fi password. Just a minor inconvenience that should be easy to fix.

We stayed there for the Leadville 100 Run. The home was perfect for our group of four, and offered everything that we needed. The management team was responsive and great to work with. We will definitely consider this property for future trips!

Great hosts, great location, and a cool place to stay with 3 BR. It’s a short walk to town and the hosts checked on us periodically during our stay. Great views off the back deck. And by far the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on away from home. All 3 BR have great mattresses. I’ll stay here again my next trip to Leadville.

The toilets and showers were disgusting , ceiling fans blades had greasy dust on them. The kitchen ovens were so filthy we could not use them. The stove vent hood had greasy dust that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The sheets in one bedroom had to be washed prior to sleeping in because of the black hairs found. I did not report this because I had family from out of state and would had no where else to go , this was planned for months and this place would of taken days to clean. Some minor issues -no screen on windows , door handles dirty. Sad to think for what I paid for these accommodations.

House is dated but they are very honest about that in description. We have four kids and we were very comfortable in this house. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Absolutely gorgeous views of mountain range with sunsets. Walking distance to town. Easy drives to ski slopes. Would definitely use them again!
