Breakfast was good. Location wise it is near the rail station which is an advantage for the tourists.
During my earlier stays in BNR in 2012, it was a nice experience watching the sea from the balcony. Unfortunately, a big structure has come up opposite BNR hotel obstructing the sea view. As it was also a govt. building, proper planning should have been made in coordination with the hotel authority while designing of the new building so that the sea views would not be obstructed. Additionally, a common pathway could have been created to access the sea beach from BNR hotel as it was there earlier.

The ambience, greenery, restaurant and helpful staffs
Insects in the room, had to call multiple times to get them away. Stronger pest control needed and checks too.
