This newly renovated, 3/2 pet-friendly Tavernier vacation home is spaciously laid out with chic island-interior finishes throughout. This tropical oasis is located in the heart of the Upper Florida Keys and offers everything you need for a fun family vacation or even an extended work-cation. Whether you are a hardcore water-sport enthusiast or prefer to spend lazy days by the luxurious pool/spa, this house is the perfect getaway. This 1-story bungalow (no stairs!) is bursting with sunlight and the ambiance of a true Florida beach home, making it easy to gather, relax, and create lifelong memories with friends and family. It features a bright and airy open-concept kitchen/living/dining area with modern appliances and plenty of cozy seating for family movie night. Just off the living room is a screened porch, perfect for reading, and enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. And for those who need to mix business with pleasure, there is also a dedicated office nook. When it’s time for bed, this home comfortably sleeps 8. Location Tavernier/Islamorada is known as the sportfishing capital of the world, but even if fishing isn't your cup of tea, there are still plenty of activities and attractions centered around the deep blue sea. You can find all kinds of watersports and activities including swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. This home is centrally located, in close proximity to a wide variety of dining experiences & excellent nightlife.

This is a very pleasant home in Tavernier. The neighborhood is somewhat in transition with quite a bit of construction/renovation going on. It felt very safe to walk or bike in the the neighborhood which we did daily. The property manager Suzanne was awesome and very responsive to our needs. The overall rating of 4 stars rather than 5 is related to the pool. The pool itself was lovely but also the source of extra work daily as it is not caged and surrounded by trees dropping leaves in winter. So be prepared to blow leaves off the pool deck, skim leaves from the pool and empty the skimmer basket daily. Also the listing wasn't clear that the $450 fee included in the "host fees" was per month for heating the pool although Suzanne told us that we could opt out of the fee and have the heater turned off in month 2 which we did. Overall if daily pool maintenance doesn't bother you then the house was excellent for an extended stay.
