We have stayed in many holiday apartments but this has genuinely been one of the best we’ve ever experienced. The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach, with a supermarket directly across the road and plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. Everything you need is right on your doorstep. The apartment itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and feels more like a home than a holiday rental. Every room has clearly been designed with guests’ comfort in mind.What truly makes this place special is the host. From the excellent communication before arrival to the thoughtful touches throughout our stay, she went above and beyond in every way. The apartment was stocked with everything imaginable!After arriving late, we were delighted to find cold water, milk, biscuits and breakfast items waiting for us. As a family travelling with a baby, we were especially grateful for the cot, high chair and baby body wash that had been provided.The pool area was lovely, clean and well maintained, making it a wonderful place to relax. The host’s kindness, generosity and attention to detail are unlike anything we’ve experienced before. She genuinely cares about her guests and has thought of absolutely everything. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Fuengirola.

Overall, we would rate this unit as 3.5. Had there been no construction, we would have given it a 4.
PROs:
• Great location
• 2 minute walk to Mercadona
• 3 minute walk to sea/beach/restaurants/shops
• 5 minute walk to large Tuesday market
• 10 minute walk to train
• Spacious and comfortable for 4 adults
• Has all the needed amenities
• Full size refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, washer
• Drying racks are on 2 of the 3 balconies
• Large pool (a little cold when we were there in April, but great for cooling off sore feet and legs after a long day of walking)
CONs:
• The unit above us was being renovated. The workers were there from 7:55AMuntil 6:30-7:00PM, Monday to Friday for the full 2 weeks we were there. The constant tapping, hammering, drilling in concrete, etc, was extremely irritating. At times we could not hear each other when sitting at the table.
• Showers were challenging as the hot water would disappear for a couple minutes mid shower. We had to step out of the spray or turn off the water for a minute or two until it came back (unless you are good with cold showers that is).
• Although we did not leave any open food out, every morning we had to kill tiny ants that were on the table or by the sink.
• This could be a pro or con, the large balcony, or any of the other balconies, did not have a view of the sea as posted. Instead the view was of the gas station, which was good for people watching.
