The location is fantastic, the house itself is perfectly spooky for October! And it’s on a beautiful street. There’s plenty of space, the pool table was an added bonus.
The only slight inconvenience was the mattress in the master bedroom. We’re not fussy when it comes to mattresses but it was particularly hard. It wouldn’t put us off staying again, but if someone had back problems or was elderly it might be an issue.

Very good location.
Spacious
Furnishings comfortable
Well equipped kitchen
Central heating was adequate and hot water was good.
Some areas could be cleaner particularly the dishwasher and the toilet brushes were disgusting.
Some areas, particularly the bathrooms were rather shabby

Absolutely ideal as we were using it as a base because we were getting married at Merchant Taylor’s Hall.
One of the quirkest properties can’t fault it.

The location
The stairs are quite narrow. Not great if you are elderly or have mobility issues. None of these apply to myself.
