Quality of accommodation, price and location (8 minute walk to the principal dock street Beira Rio)
The attention of Maju, the property manager, is excellent and the condominion is well organized and maintained. There is a swimming pool but even better there is a garden and a dock downtown the river to relax and swim if you like.
To visit the Lençois you are right at the bridge that enters the park!!

Nous avons apprécié la proximité du centre ville et la piscine.le logement est assez spacieux pour 3/4 personnes. Le fait d’avoir 2 salles de bain est un réel plus. Enfin l’échange avec le propriétaire.
Un gros ménage serait nécessaire dans cet appartement. En effet les plaintes sont sales, il y avait des toiles d’araignées et la propretés des serviettes laissent à désirer (traces jaunes)

The apartment is well located for access to the Dunes. The area is very quiet and it felt safe walking around. It was an easy walk from the town area and restaurants on the river - where you also catch the ferry to Atins. It has a good pool for relaxing when not on the dunes (although there were only 2 loungers). Kitchen equipment was adequate for cooking a simple meal for 4 adults. Plenty of water was provided for the cooler and this was restocked when it ran out - I just contacted Maju. Maju was incredibly helpful at every stage - including recommending an excursion agent (far cheaper than big companies). Many reviews I found about the town said that Barreirinhas has limited access to the internet and card payments - this is not true anymore - we didn't use cash once. The guard was really helpful in helping us get a taxi - there is a local app - uber does not work. Overall, it was a very good place to stay.
It is about a 15 minute walk from the nearest decent supermarket but with a small rucksack it was fine.
