Location , nicely renovated . Good kitchen amenities , very comfortable
Constructively -
Not enough fire wood to start a fire ( one of main reasons house was rented ) so had to buy loads of wood . Looked everywhere for matches near fire , found lighter in utensil draw in kitchen
Perhaps more throw rugs/ extra blankets for overnight
Didn't realise bathroom has shampoo until
Night 2 as they were in cupboard ( not out on bench )
No cooking oil left at start of stay
Looked everywhere for house handbook , found it in a cupboard in kitchen
Batteries flat in all but one reverse cycle air con
Perhaps label power switches-range good hard to find
Gas heater wouldn't work outside on front deck

Perfect location, 1 minute walk to the water and to coffee shops and supermarket
It didn’t bother us but If you had young children the back bedrooms were outside access only.

We loved the location, cute vibe of the house and family friendly activities available for our kids. It was so lovely to have a cuppa tea on front deck looking out to the ocean. Our kids especially loved scootering up and down the hill. Metung is a great community town and we can’t wait visit again!
I didn’t realise the back rooms had to be accessed going outside, didn’t feel a 100% safe with us in main house and them out back at night.
