Extremely disappointing stay – poor communication and misleading charges

Comfort.

Our experience was very disappointing. Communication was slow and unreliable; messages went unanswered for days, and we had to escalate to Booking.com to get any response. Reception is only available a few hours per day, with no clear schedule posted. Important information, such as traffic issues and pool access, was only provided upon request, rather than proactively. The suite itself is old and poorly maintained. It was not properly cleaned upon our arrival, and some details were neglected—for example, a child’s toy went under sofa and it was extremely dirty underneath. Bedding and towels, which we paid extra for, were insufficient: we received only two towels for two people (one large, one small), and the beddings were not set up, we arrived late at night and had to make the beds ourselves. Despite paying for cleaning, we were charged an additional 280 euro for not cleaning up after making breakfast and for leaving the refrigerator untouched. The cleaning instructions were unclear and inconsistent, creating unnecessary frustration. Rules about towels, beddings, and cleaning are not communicated upfront, making it feel like guests are being unfairly penalized. There is also no proper equipment for snow removal, which caused inconvenience during our stay. Overall, the suite is outdated, poorly maintained, and the service does not match what is promised. Communication issues and hidden rules make the stay unnecessarily stressful. I cannot recommend this property. Clear, honest communication, better maintenance, and proper service are sorely needed.

Sympa
