OK pour 1 nuit

Très bien placé. Chambre spacieuse et propre. Parking possible même si ce n'est pas le plus pratique. (Il faut se garer les uns devant les autres)

Chambre très sombre et salle de bain qui mérite un coup de frais. Les chiens du propriétaire qui aboient au milieu de la nuit.

Saubere Unterkunft in guter Lage zu Bomben Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet, AC braucht man in La Fortuna eigentlich nicht. Die Leute wirken auf den ersten Blick vllt ein wenig grummelig, sind aber super hilfsbereit und bieten super Touren an (Café zb).

Perfect stay at la Fortuna

Very nice hosts and cute rooms. We had a really nice stay and booked two more nights because we felt comfy and had a lot to see at la Fortuna

Sistemazione nel centro di La Fortuna

Ottima posizione nel centro di La Fortuna, comoda a bar, ristoranti e servizi vari. Le camere sono essenziali ma piuttosto grandi, con due letti matrimoniali e bagno privato.

E' presente una cucina in comune, ma le dotazioni sarebbero da rivedere. Tegami vecchi, arrugginiti. Non avendo un accendino non abbiamo potuto accendere il gas (nemmeno alla reception ce lo hanno prestato).

Disappointing

The location was nice.

I haven't ever met anyone that was this bad and unwilling to give customer service to customers . The cleaner was the only good person working for the hotel, atleast she smiled when you walked past her..and the bugs inside the room was pretty nasty.... there is a parking lot that only fits cars behind each other, so i needed to wake at 7.20am to move my car. The "owners" dog kept barking till 2am in the morning so sleeping here is hard, if u don't like extra noises when you trying to sleep.

Ok, but there are better options

Located in the center of town very close to bus station scooter rental and supermarkets. Bogarin Trail is about 10 min. Walk.

Owner seemed indifferent at times. Room was hot as hell during the day and the fan was pathetic for the room ( wall mounted small fan). I've been to Costa Rica 25 times and I would rank it in the lower half of the rooms I've stayed in. There are better options nearby. However, it was cheap, clean and centrally located.

Good location, but very hot

Shower was large good location, good breakfast. Having a refrigerator was nice.

Room was very hot. There were no screens on the windows, so mosquitoes could get in. I didn't want to leave the front window open while I was out or sleeping for safety reasons.

I pay in dollars but the change gave it to me in Colones, they should charge the same as it would be more expensive in Colones.

The breakfast was good and location excellent x . Right in town. Quiet at night.

La Fortuna stay

The location is great. Accessible to everything.

T'was very hot and humid during our stay, which I didn't expect so I did not book a room with AC and I regret that. I would recommend booking the room with AC during the dry season.

Pleasant

Good location. Big room Nice breakfast

Price was 132 USD with all taxes, but they charge 150 ... Is not fair from owner to make this kind of scam...I book just day before, so rate can be change a lot... Booking.com give me the price in USA dollars, maybe is kind of trick...to say after rate is change from owner... Anyway I pay 18 dollars more... So by querfull with this...

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was friendly,helpful and fun.

The breakfast was plentiful. Coffee great. The location is very convenient. Close to everything. I took their trip to the falls , lava trail and hot springs. Small group, friendly guide. I would do it again.

Superb

The placement is awesome, right in the center of the city, with a supermarket just in front. The room was big and really clean, nice beds. Our room did not have AC but we didn't need it. It has hot water in the shower. They offer great tours with the best prices, and Mauricio the guide was just amazing. I forgot my ebook there when I left and they helped me to get it back by sending it to me with other tourist couple, which was nice of them. Overall it's a really nice place, I recommend it.

For one of our tours (Rio Celeste) , the guide didn't show up and they sent us there anyway and "put" us with another guide from another company and he didn't explain anything to us, they just let us there to do the hike by ourselves. When we came back to the hostel they didn't refund us or anything (not even parcial refund) even though we paid for a guided tour.

Superb

Good location near the bus stop. Free breakfast and coffe. They have a small outdoor kitchen that works ok. A bit of view of the Vulcano arena from upstairs balcony there we had our room. Warm water in shower.

They didn't clean room or empty our toilet trash bin in our 3 day stay. Other places we had did that every day. So thats the only thing to say.

it is well located and the breakfast is good. the trip i booked through them was also good as was the transfer to Monteverde

i thought that the owner and his son (although they did their jobs ok) showed a lack of enthusiasm for us guests.

I would go back

Location, safe secure parking for my motorcycle, quiet and a pretty good breakfast with AC and a common kitchen with fridge. Great value for the $.

The initial meeting with the owner when I checked in was not very inviting. No smile, no smalltalk, he just opened the room door and walked away back to his office, not a word. I stayed 5 days in his establishment and his attitude slowely improved. So I presume he was just having a bad day when I checked in. Maybe a few days off would help.

Clean close to center.

The room was noisy. Unfortunately, we did not feel welcome. He was also unwilling to bring our breakfast forward a quarter of an hour because we had to leave early. There is still room for improvement in terms of hospitality.

Beware of the angry owner

The location is near everything in central town. The breakfast is good, with a good size portion. The bed was comfortable and the pillows too. It has a good cable service.

The attitude of the owner. A very grumpy and bitter man. Hardly talks, not even to answer your questions. He makes you feel like your visit bothers him. Also, the window of my room had no lock, except for a stick that you needed to put every time you were going out. The lock in the door was difficult to open.
