A wonderful stay in the heart of Locarno
We had a truly wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed apartment. It was spacious, airy, and so well cross-ventilated that air conditioning was never missed, even in late August. The living space felt bright and welcoming, with comfortable seating and lovely views over the terracotta rooftops toward the bell tower and the hills beyond.
The apartment was spotless from top to bottom, and the quality of the linens really stood out. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to start the day right — coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar, all the little essentials that make a place feel like home rather than just a rental. It made settling in effortless.
The location put us right in the middle of Locarno's charm, just steps from the old town's narrow lanes, church towers, and the lively Piazza Grande, with its colorful facades and cafes.
Honestly, we didn't want the stay to end. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, authentic base to explore Locarno and the surrounding Ticino region.
Only complaint: we didn't want to leave.

Die Lage so nahe bei der Piazza grande war für uns top! Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet, es hat 2 hübsche kleine Balkons auf die Altstadt.
Die Betten waren prima.
Durch die zentrale Lage hat der Hausvorplatz für heimkehrende Personen leider als Toilette gedient und deshalb entsprechend gerochen. Vielleicht wäre es gut, das Tor dazu abzuschliessen?

The location was ideal right on the old square and the apt is beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. The little balconies have lovely views. The restaurant downstairs is also delightful.
It was not the properties fault but booking.com had the address listed incorrectly.
