White Shell Cottage has a gorgeous view and is really quiet, clean, light, and spacious, mixing old with new. It was a lovely relaxing shack with everything one could need.

Fantastic beachside location with everything you need. Loved watching wildlife out the front window, the sun rise, sitting on the front porch soaking up the rays and fresh air straight off the ocean.
Comfortable bed. Great electric blankets. Very clean with a relaxing vibe and styled well.

Overall, you are paying for the beautiful location of this house, which is fabulous, a beachfront house in a quiet coastal town surrounded by nature. Whilst access and parking are all good the property requires alot of maintenance. The kitchen area and main living are lovely spaces. I don't think it is suitable for more than 2 adults due to the bedding and rooms on offer.
We've stayed in a lot of 'old or heritage' houses and were not expecting perfection but it is unacceptable that the windows are not functioning or able to be opened. We managed to open one but had to prop the sash up using a book. Additionally there are no flyscreens, so in hot weather it could be a little stifling. The bathroom is very dated and there are no photos of this online. Due to this the house is really only suitable for 2 adults and a couple of kids. Also on the boundary there is red brick house which is not fenced or camoflauged by plantings which felt a bit strange. It is pretty clear the bare minnium is being done to maintain the property for rental purposes. If you know all these things before booking it would be helpful.
