I booked Danu House due to its great reviews and was not disappointed. Mita and Kadek were perfect hosts. Ubud is a very busy, noisy place and Danu House was situated away from the main road and was a little oasis from that hustle and bustle. We enjoyed the big tasty breakfasts cooked by Mita each day. Kadek was an excellent driver and informative guide on our trip to Monkey River, the butterfly park and Tegenungan waterfall. It was a treat to have our own private pool and private facilities. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend.
Nothing it was fabulous

The host Mita and her husband Kadek were very friendly and very helpful. We used Kadek's driving services to see Ubud. He is very patient and explained to us very well the Balinese tradition and culture. Mita's hospitality is exceptional. She takes care of personalized requests.
We would certainly love to come back and recommend them to anyone who wants to experience a warm and homely stay.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Mita and Kadek were fantastic hosts! It was such a privilege to stay within their family compound. Fascinating conversations, we learned a lot and felt well looked after. Kadek is also a very knowledgeable guide.
The spacious villa had its privacy as well. Super safe, quiet, and a short walk to restaurants and matkets.
No complaints! Don't be fooled by some flaking paint, the villa is in a very good condition and comfortable.

Mita et son mari sont des hôtes exceptionnels qui nous ont accueillis chaleureusement et avec générosité au sein de leur enceinte familiale. La maison d’hôte est grande et très confortable et au calme pas loin du centre.
Je recommande vivement.
