The location was very good and the property was easy to access, with a smooth and straightforward check-in. The property also presented well on arrival and the surrounding area was lovely.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness did not match the very high rating shown on Booking.com, which had been one of the main reasons we chose the property. We found several large brown marks on the bedding and duvet in one bedroom, as well as dark markings on the bedroom ceiling that appeared to be mould or damp, which concerned us enough to stop using that room. Similar dark/black markings were also visible on the bathroom ceiling above the shower. We raised these issues with the host during our stay and received an apology, but they were not resolved before we left.
