Family of 3 / two adults and teenage daughter.
The perfect escape, away from the touristy side of Malaga. Beautiful split-level apartment/villa, surrounded by mango groves, and overlooked by no-one. Peace and quiet in abundance, every day. The intoxicating scent of wild herbs emanating from the surrounding hills is incredible. We miss that.
We were greeted at the property by Hans and supported throughout our stay by he and Claudia. Both were wonderfully kind and helpful, generously presenting us with a welcome gift of wine and olives on arrival. Wow. Amazing. We loved that. Thank you so much.
The kitchen is exceptionally well kitted out with everything you need to cook for your party of friends and family. Basic store cupboard items were also there to use and replenish for the next guests; salt, pepper, oils, herbs, spices etc. Brilliant.
Shower in the bathroom is fantastic. When it's time to Netflix and chill, the comfy sofa and giant TV in the living room feels like a home cinema. The pool was maintained regularly but never intrusively. Beautiful outdoor areas for sunbathing and dining. Honestly, we all loved Villa del Sol and never wanted to leave the property. We would go back there in a heartbeat.
There is genuinely nothing at all we could complain about.
Things to be aware of...
Purely in the interest of transparency, there are around 40+ steps involved in accessing the property from the parking bay. So if you have mobility issues, and stairs are a problem, this is something you would need to consider. Having said that, I was nursing a knee injury at the time of our stay, and I managed fine.
The ground level parking bay (behind a secure electric electric gate) is situated at the top of a steep and narrow, concrete access path. Exiting the property in your vehicle requires performing a tight 3-point turn on a steep hill. Again it was fine, and it got easier every time.

Puiki terasa, baseinas, kuris buvo pakankamo dydžio ir gylio. Gerai prižiūrimas, vanduo labai švarus. Viloje yra viskas, ko gali prireikti. Pilnai įrengta virtuvė, daug virtuvinių prietaisų, įrankių, indų. Vieta rami, tarp mangų ir citrinų sodų. Uždara teritorija, jautiesi saugiai ir privačiai. Užlipti reikia laiptukais, bet tai nesukėlė jokių nepatogumų. Saulė visą dieną, puikiai galima praleisti laiką baseine, zonoje ant gultų prie baseino. Skėčiai nuo saulės. Terasa dengta, apsaugota nuo saulės, didelis pietų stalas, poilsio komplektas pasisėdėjimui. Gražus apšvietimas terasoje.
Viskas patiko, gal tik kiek skruzdėlės kankino, kurios iš lauko labai veržėsi į namą. Kadangi kaimiška teritorija, viskas suprantama. Šeimininkai buvo palikę priemonių kovoti su jomis, tai naudojomės purškalu, kuris porai dienų būdavo visai efektyvus.
