About this house rental

Situated in Tahoe Vista, this attractive house for $175 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Surrounded by pine trees with Lake Tahoe and mountain resorts just minutes away, Cozy Tahoe Getaway is true to its name with a cozy gas fireplace, exposed wood ceilings, and homey furnishings. The main living space is classic Tahoe with nature-inspired design and decor. There’s so much nearby to explore, but when you’re enjoying indoor leisure time, this is the place to do it. With the ambience of the fire stove, cozy up on the couches for a movie on the smart tv or simply some time spent together. Sliding glass doors keep you connected to the outdoors with unimpeded forest views and access onto the home’s balcony with outdoor seating and grill. Back inside, the kitchen is fully equipped so you can conveniently cook at home. 2 barstools sit at the kitchen counter, perfect for enjoying quick bites to eat and visiting with the cook. A dining table sits just off the kitchen where you can share formal meals. This home sleeps 4 guests between 1 private bedroom and sleeping loft. The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed. Sliding glass doors provide natural light, forest views, and access onto a private deck. The loft has 2 full size beds and a tv. THINGS TO NOTE: - The home shares a bathroom with shower/tub combo. - 2 parking spaces are provided. - Washer and dryer in unit. - This is a walk-in unit. - Pool and sports complex are seasonal amenities, available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Cozy Tahoe Getaway puts you within easy reach of Tahoe ski country. World-class ski resorts within close range include: • Northstar (6.8 miles) • Diamond Peak (8.9 miles) • Homewood (16.4 miles) • Palisades Tahoe (17.2 miles) Beyond hitting the slopes, year-round activities are waiting to be explored in the surrounding areas. Miles of both paved and dirt trails for biking of all levels are nearby. Epic hiking trails with stunning panoramic views dot the region. Enjoy popular beaches on Tahoe Lake’s crystal blue water or find a private cove with unforgettable swimming. From boating and water sports to fishing and kayaking, there’s no shortage of activities on the lake. In addition to all the outdoor action, Tahoe’s entertainment scene is sure to impress. It’s a 3 floor condo with bathroom and master bedroom on the ground floor, living room and kitchen on the first floor and guest bedroom on the second floor. I think it would be fine for a couple with kids, but it would be a trek to the bathroom for adults staying in the guest bedroom. The house was clean, beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked. The big issue is the condo location. The picture from the living room shows trees just off the deck. What is not shown is highway 267 which is just a few feet past the trees. For those unfamiliar with Tahoe, highway 267 is a very busy road with plenty of truck traffic. The master bedroom and the living room have decks and large patio doors. They are in fact the only opening windows. The noise level when the doors are open is beyond loud. When sat on the deck it was hard to have a conversation. So the choice in the summer is sit in a hot airless condo and have quiet or open up and just try to block out the noise. I would say that as a winter let it might work but I would strongly recommend against staying in the summer
