Beautifully furnished, wonderful baroque character. Easy walking to Ambleside for restaurants, Windermere and connections around the area.

Had everything needed for a long stay and a good location.
A little dated and could do with a deep clean.

Location. Quiet. Bird life.
Chairs uncomfortable. Pillows on bed uncomfortable. Needed a deep clean.

The location and facilities were excellent. The garden was beautiful.
We had brought towels etc. with us since the previous reviews had noted that they were not available. However, towels were provided, and all basic amenities were in place.
As mentioned by other reviewers, the "power shower" wasn't, but it was useable and fine for the time we were there.
