Great views from all the windows- much better than pictured.
Lovely and cosy- quick to warm up when the heating was put on
Very baby friendly- toys and books available as well as a gate for the downstairs
Communication from the hosts was poor. I contacted prior to arrival after I saw road closures affecting access to the property on Google maps and a review left by a prior guest. The host said they have no information about access difficulties. When we got there the road was closed and we had to drag our luggage up the road. For future guests- follow the road from Lanty Slee Elterwater- not from the Co-op. Road expected to be closed for 18m
The hosts also take SO long to reply to messages but luckily we didn't need anything during our trip
No hairdryer- looks to have been removed

Cottage is comfy, clean and tranquil with beautiful views. Perfect walking location and near to bus route. A pleasant stroll from the village pub; and Lanty Slee’s restaurant (Elterwater), which is along the same road, take a torch and pre-book.
Directions were incorrect as a dangerous building is causing long-term road closure outside the property. Cars cannot access the property and private parking bay from the village, instead, take the quiet road before the village which goes past Elterwater Parking and Lanty Slee’s restaurant.

Really nicely presented and perfect for a Lake District Holiday. Great views
Accommodation was up to 6 berth but there was only one car parking space. There was some further parking down the road but was very limited.
Perhaps a warning for the steps up to the cottage and for the relatively steep stairs.
