Fantastic accommodation and the location is unbeatable. Facilities were excellent overall with a good kitchen (including a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer) and good bathrooms. The bath felt luxurious! The location is quiet and away from traffic, and lots of excellent hill routes can be reached directly from the house. It is only a five-minute walk from Ambleside via a footpath through a park, though, so everything in the town is very accessible, too. Would happily return.
Nothing to do with the house, but make sure to access the road it is on from the south. My satnav app always directed me to the northern end, which makes for a long, slow drive down a narrow country lane.

Great 2 bed 2 bath property with plenty of space and parking. Good location for a short walk into Ambleside.
