Very convenient to town restaurants and shops - less than 5 mins. Cozy cottage but just fine for 2 couples with 2 bedrooms kitchen was great for breakfast Ate out lunches and dinners. Flying fleece was excellent. Only 10 min to Grasmere.
Low ceilings going to attic bedroom!! “ mind your head”
A few more supplies like dish soap , salt and pepper, toilet paper would have been appreciated.

The accommodation was very comfortable, with everything we needed. An excellent location, very close to the centre of town, but a very quiet location. A beautiful area, with good walks on the doorstep and with plenty of places of interest to visit by car or public transport. The house was well equipped with lots of information with regard to places of interest in the area, books to read and boxed games to play.
A rubber bath mat would have been useful for the shower, to prevent accidents. Or a mention to bring your own.

Location
It needed a new bathroom . The shower and toilet flush were a bit iffy . Outside was scruffy and needed attention. The garden was very enclosed.
