The 3 storey property is located in a quiet street, in the centre of Ambleside, 2 minutes walk to shops, pubs & restaurants. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, it was the perfect base for a group of four ladies to relax & explore the area. The living area is very comfortable & the kitchen well equipped. The little back yard was a very pleasant place to enjoy a morning coffee.
Everything was excellent - parking arrangement is the only thing we felt could be improved ...... Although we had two permits to park in the public car park 5 or so minutes walk away, it would have been helpful to have a permit to park on the street outside the property, as two of our party have limited mobility. I understand that there used to be an on street permit, but it has gone missing - it would be beneficial to renew this permit, as there was always plenty of space to park outside the property.

The house was situated in a great place, a 2 minute walk to the centre of Ambleside. The beds and sofas were comfortable and the house was spacious. For each bedroom, there was a bathroom too which was convenient and appreciated. There was also a smart TV in each bedroom. The garden was nice and had some afternoon sun. The WiFi was good, but was a bit slower if you're on the top floor. They supplied enough dishwasher tablets for the week.
Not enough toilet rolls were supplied, one of the kitchen chairs was broken when we arrived. The fridge was too small for 8 people, perhaps having a small extra one in the boiler room would have been better.

Worse part is permit issued by the property isn’t recognised by local council and parting ticket issued which was v disappointing
