Location was perfect, the cottage is well presented overall with powerful showers after a long day walking. Perfect for a family and dog friendly too.
There were some things which were a little outdated e.g. the wardrobe handles were loose and the garden pavement was also loose. Make sure you book restaurants in peak times.

The location, size of the property and the rooms, peaceful and quiet, with great access to Grasmere and the mountains.

Lovely space and location. Garden was a real treat and got the sun at the end of the day
Pet friendly but an unacceptable amount of dog hairs. No toiletries at all, not even hand soap. Garden unsafe with three paving slabs not secure. My little girl fell as a result and scraped her arm / bumped her head.
What was most disappointing was that we contacted the property about our concerns on the day we left as don’t like leaving negative feedback but we haven’t had a response. Such a shame because it could have been wonderful.
