The tent was very nicely decorated. The bed was so comfy with a nice soft mattress. Other places I have stayed in Mara had very hard thin mattresses. Lots of bench space in the bathroom and an extra make up mirror ( which I used). It feels like the room was decorated by a woman who knows what other women need. It also has a pedestal fan in the room which is handy.
Just an observation- I didn't see any female workers there at all. Apparently there are a couple, but I never saw any. I felt like this was strange to not share some of these jobs with the local women and give them employment.

Stop searching for a place to stay when you’re visiting Maasai Mara Park. All the staff are amazing, friendly, and check in on you throughout your experience on the safari and at their gorgeous camp!
Stay in one of their luxury rooms (I stayed at Simba 19) — you will not be disappointed! It’s even better than my apartment.
Ask for Alfred or Dennis to be your guide during the safari. They love game driving and will find all the Big Five and Big Nine animals for you (along with all the other animals in the park). I am so grateful and blessed to have had them, and to have seen more than I ever dreamed of.
Kevin, my dear, ensures your stay at the camp is memorable and as comfortable as can be.
The rest of the staff — from check-in, to security, to the chefs who make sure you enjoy every meal — are one of a kind!
Thank you for making my long-held dream come true, and beyond. I will definitely recommend this camp and staff to everyone who wants to hear it.

The room decor and our waiter Jeff.
The inadequate water pressure and shower facilities. It looked to be very luxurious, but an actuality took a long time for the water to heat up enough to take a very inadequate shower. This was the one accommodation we were looking most forward to on our trip and the one we were the most disappointed with in the end. In between safari drives, there's absolutely nothing to do.The tents are so stiflingly hot that even spending time inside them, was brutal. At checkout, we were told that they could not run a credit card in Kenyan shillings, which made no sense whatsoever because of their obvious international clientele, and then added a fee for using a credit card. We booked eight different properties on this trip and not a single other property did either one of these things. We felt like what was advertised was not delivered, and were very disappointed in the end.
