Location 10/10 ow we loved everything, perfect romantic getaway place, Honeymoon vibes. Staff was friendly they even made up for the network issue. I wish I can visit again now. The host prepared for me a mini surprise birthday deco with flowers and balloons 🥰 loved everything

Vodacom tower in the area was damaged and Wifi was not working. Not the lodge fault

Amazing location, beautiful and quiet, loved the wood fired tub, kitchen had all the amenities and an air fryer. Beautiful walk to the dams. The dome is cosy even in cold weather. The net is so comfortable.

Small attention-to-detail issues that would have made it even better: curtains and chair cushions need a wash (everything else was very clean), below the cabin litter needs to be cleared, telescope not working. I will definitely be back to Thunzi but will stay at one of the cabins next time.

Everything was nice and tidy and clean. And then view was nice.

The maintenance on the dome could be better, the kitchen light was very dim and didn’t help much, and the kitchen extractor fan did not work. The telescope which is supposed to be used for stargazing is broken.
