We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, with an easy walk into the historic centre while still being in a quieter area. Parking was simple and convenient, which was a big plus. Our room had a balcony that we enjoyed, the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Lucca.

The bed and pillows were too soft for my liking, but that's a personal preference. The junior suite was spacious and comfortable and the shower was good.
The gardens are gorgeous and the perfect place to sit for a drink or a quiet (bring your own) lunch or dinner.
Breakfast was good, you won't go hungry and Matteo will make your coffee how ever you like it.

Villa Romantica is a real villa, a beautiful villa, with a family atmosphere and a wonderful Turkish spa tucked under the eaves. Superb to sit in the leafy garden with a coffee. A little away from the crowded city but within walking distance. Really nice staff. Bus to station. I

Lovely charming bed and breakfast just outside the walls of Lucca. Extremely kind staff. We were there in a heat wave and it was difficult to cool the room. Everything else was great.
