Pre-historic stone circles, historic houses and ancient castles abound. Choose from mountain biking in Grizedale Forest, canoeing on the Duddon River, horse-riding on Silecroft beach or making the most of glorious vistas of the open sea, shimmering lakes and lofty mountains.
