A quiet week in a nice apartment , with 6 days good weather .

I was staying self catering . The apartment was spacious and light . It was well equipped for cooking/cleaning/washing . It had a good shower , and the hot water was plentiful and almost instant . There were 2 TV's and a comfortable 2 seater sofa . There was cutlery/crockery and a table with placemats . The balcony had a ceiling to floor double glass door , and there was a sea view from it . The wi-fi was free , and worked without issue all week . There were lifts to all floors , and it seemed there was someone on reception all the time . The building had a diner on ground floor , but I didn't use it . There was a bus stop into town just across the road . It was very quiet at night , and I slept well in the comfortable bed . The rooms were well lit . There was ample wardrobe capacity , and various sockets for charging things . There was a heater/air conditioning but I didn't have a need for either . When checking out , I had to remove any rubbish and leave the property in a clean/condition . I had to simply leave the keys on the table and pull the door ( locked ) behind me .

Two things that I didn't like were ; 1, when I entered the apartment the balcony door had been left open , and leaves from the plants on the balcony were littered around the floor . It was very windy when I arrived . 2, My next concern probably wouldn't bother tech savvy folk , but it wasn't good for me . When I landed at the airport I decided to phone confirm my time of arrival at the apartment . Nobody answered . I did receive a message to say that the key for my apartment was in a secure box ( with a 4 digit lock ) at a business property in the middle of town . I was advised by the man on reception to take a taxi , as it was a fair walk , and because he was shortly finishing work that I'd have to take my luggage with me . Not a good first impression . Any way , I called the recommended taxi firm , retrieved the key and returned in same taxi . The thing that I found annoying was that the host chose to communicate with me using 4 different means . Email , text , What's app and the Booking .com site . Not ideal for a 60 year old who's almost a technophobe . In the end , I never actually met the host . Also , I've just remembered , there was a power cut for around 90 minutes one night .

Check in & communication issues, but apartment nice

The apartment itself is clean & comfortable. There is plenty of storage space. The shower is powerful enough to easily manage long hair. The equipment such as TV, cookers, fridge, freezer are modern & well kept. There's many light settings to adjust it just right. The washer dryer came in handy as one towel each doesn't last an entire holiday. The washer dryer settings are in Spanish but easy to translate. The bin area on the ground floor has recycling sections. The balcony door when closed keeps out a lot of the street noise. There's a slight view of the sea. Building E1 has a spa on the lower ground level which other holiday makers said was good.

I paid extra to be met early by greeter Eli for check in, but instead he sent a laughing emoji shortly beforehand at the idea of meeting us & we had to walk over 40min with all the luggage to get the key elsewhere. I received multiple messages during the stay with inaccurate information, was eventually assured the correct information was known, yet days before our check out date the cleaner rang me thinking we should be checked out & we returned to find someone had been in the apartment when we were out. For the price we paid we expected more basic supplies, for example more than a dribble of washing up liquid & enough toilet paper to last the stay. We had to buy our own. The floor tiles on the balcony were loose underfoot, and being on the 12th floor that felt too risky to sit out on. Best be aware it's a very busy street with often heavy traffic, and local motorcyclists/scooters often ignore pedestrian lights.

Fantastic! This is my second stay and l will always choose sweet stay over a hotel stay any day

Exceptionally clean! Staff was available to meet me in person at the right time. The team went the extra mile and had left toiletries and cleaning products for me!

Things that can’t change is the traffic noise on the main road and the pollution of it. Things that can change, a new mattress the existing one was uncomfortable and a tea towel would have been nice! This is my second stay and l will always choose sweet stay over a hotel stay any day

A fantastic stay at Gibraltar

The studio I booked was top-notch - super clean and had that fresh modern vibe with all the chic furniture. Plus, the location couldn't have been better! It was just a hop, skip, and jump away from the beach, airport, and city centre, making everything so convenient. I seriously enjoyed every bit of my stay, and honestly, I loved it! If you're thinking about heading to Gibraltar, don't hesitate to book here. You won't regret it! 😊🏖️✈️🏙️

The only little hiccup I encountered was during the check-in process; it could have been a tad smoother. Also, I must admit that reaching customer service wasn't a piece of cake. But the good news is that they swiftly sorted out the issue, so thanks to them for that! Apart from that, my time in Gibraltar was truly enjoyable.

The property was modern, spacious and very clean. It had everything you needed

The only slight improvement would be to have use of the on-site gym and swimming pool during your stay.

Good

This was a very nice place. Brand new, very comfortable. Lots of nice features: complete kitchen, two smart TVs, washer/dryer, dishwasher. A very nice book with restaurants recommendations, bus schedules was available. A little far from the majority of restaurants but that did not bother us. Restaurant in the lobby has a great breakfast.

No warm or hot water during our stay. Check-in was frustrating. The address on the booking.com listing is incorrect. Damage deposit was collected at check-in which is returned 7-10 business days after your stay.

Great place to stay, I recommend it.

- Our host Eli was great, available 24hrs and the whole team (Like Alexandra)was amazing always ready to help and answer any questions when required. -The apartment was super clean and exactly as the pictures shows. - The landlords make a little book with different attractions, restaurants and places we could go see which was really nice. - Location is literally 6mins drive from city centre which is casemates square. -The view is amazing. -The kitchen is fully equipped which allowed us to cook on our first night as we were too tired to go out for food. - I would definitely book it again, maybe in the future when the building is finished so we can have to fully experience.

-The building was still under construction and there was also some constructions going on the main road, which meant it was noisy during the day. But it wasn't too much of a hassle as from 5pm everything was pretty quiet. - The spa and swimming pool was still under constructions, which was a disappointment as it was one of the reasons we booked this facilities, so we could have a "spa day". But we managed to find another location which wasn't too far from the apartment. -No shower Gel provided, we had to buy our own.
